Would Rather Have a DLC Of The 16 Month Time Skip Or a Novel Of the Story?

I know what you are thinking: Why in the hell would I want to read a book, if I can just play a video game? Think about it: no matter what options you would pick in that DLC it wouldn't change anything because it in the past. So why even have the game?

Also, A novel written by the right hands can examine what is going on in 9-10 year old Clementine's head: Is she scarce? Does she understand what is happening? What kind of inner turmoil is this child facing? A novel is the only piece of media that can examine a person inter monologue to a science.literature.

A novel also doesn't have a month wait for each chapter and the story can be longer, because there isn't any producer constraints

  • Why not just release movie using the games graphics that just shows it to you? It could be like a $5.00 download, and you watch it. Without using game controls, and multiple story lines because of choices it would be much easier to make. Probably faster than writing a book which usually requires being written several times, edited, and then printed.

  • That's good, but I like the idea of a book more because the mind can be explored better in detail in words. I was thinking that they should add a movie mode based on choices for season 1 and 2, like a preplayed game without decision trees

  • Maybe they could do something in the style of the comics just as a one off issue or something. Then we could find out what happened to Christa's baby.

  • I'd rather the 16 month time skip DLC. After all, it's meant to be a game. So having a DLC book doesn't really connect with people like the games do?
