  • I don't play it, I've just seen multiple walkthroughs were it happens to them. I'm guessing they play on PC also.

On which platform do you play, I have no problems on PC.

  • I hope if we never see Christa again that she makes some sort of cameo, dead or alive. I'd also like to see Mike, Bonnie and Arvo's corpses.

Someone made a thread about this called "Michonne will visit Motor Inn. from Season One?!" if you're interested in taking a look, it's most likely a placeholder art or a reused asset as it seems unlikely that Michonne will travel back down to Georgia and visit the motor inn during the game but i guess we will find out more once it releases.

I'm very fucking disappointed with Telltale! I've watched interviews to hear what they say about their company, and they have all this stupid shit going on in their head that is causing them to fuck up their games! I've been knowing for months now what's been going on at Telltale Games, and that's why I wasn't surprised at all when they didn't deliver on their promise to keep Danai Gurira from the TV series to voice Michonne for their mini-series. Their arrogance on making successful games from other franchises caused them to push back the Season 3 date to next year, and now they're pushing back the min-series to Feb 2016 when they promised it would debut in the 4th qtr of this year, and before that they promised it would come out earlier this year. Telltale Games has become dull, and I've been knowing for a long time they would never make another game that would be as successful as The Walking Dead's first season. That's why all their new games are getting horrible reviews! NOBODY even bother with the min-series, and completely forget about season 3, because I know they're going to be terrible! I've given up on Telltale months ago, and this is coming from a huge fan of The Waking Dead Season One!

  • Telltale never promised to have Danai Gurira in Michonne. In fact, Job stated that she would be voiced by someone else. They have never stated a concrete Season 3 release date. As for their newer games getting bad reviews, I would disagree, as Tales From The Borderlands and the Wolf Among Us have both reached critical acclaim.

I wonder if they will give ep 2 of Michonne a 6 just because its the penultimate episode.

  • Well no, it's reviews were not on the same level. Most of Season 1's ranged from mid to high 80's, while Season 2 was high 70's to low 80's, which is still good, but not as good as Season 1.

  • Nope, this is still canon to the comics, so I'm almost a 100% positive that she'll be back with Rick and Co at the end of the miniseries. And if she isn't, she still won't randomly run around in Michigan. Not even to mention that the timeframe is way off.

I wasn't surprised at all when they didn't deliver on their promise to keep Danai Gurira from the TV series to voice Michonne for their mini-series.

They never said that, in fact they said someone else would voice Michonne way before the trailer.

Their arrogance on making successful games from other franchises

How dare they make money with anything else but TWD! Even if it means that they'll go bankrupt in the years that Season 3 would still have taken!

Your wording here really makes you seem like a troll, so if you are, then congrats on getting me riled up for nothing (which isn't hard, so don't flatter yourself). If you're not a troll, then that's kind of sad.

caused them to push back the Season 3 date to next year

It was never announced for this year, in fact it hasn't been announced for 2016 either. As of right now, a 2017 release date for TWD Season 3 is way more realistic. It also wasn't caused by any of their recent games, Telltale has multiple teams working on multiple titles without them effecting each other.

and now they're pushing back the min-series to Feb 2016 when they promised it would debut in the 4th qtr of this year

That was unforeseen, but fine, I'll give you that. However, it was done so that the Episodes could be released closer together, so we wouldn't have gotten the Episodes much earlier anyway.

and before that they promised it would come out earlier this year.

    They didn't.

Telltale Games has become dull, and I've been knowing for a long time they would never make another game that would be as successful as The Walking Dead's first season.

That's not because Telltale has 'become dull', it's because TWD is the most overhyped gaming franchise and one of the most overhyped franchises in general.

That's why all their new games are getting horrible reviews!

I won't even go into that as my rambling is way too long already, but basically with a little research you would have been proven otherwise (IGN should be ignored for the sake of your braincells).

NOBODY even bother with the min-series, and completely forget about season 3, because I know they're going to be terrible!

    enter image description here

I'll give them a chance solely because of their 'horrible' new games. If Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones hadn't convinced me that Telltale can do better than TWD Season 2, I probably wouldn't have bothered. But Telltale really pulled me back in with these great games.

I've given up on Telltale months ago, and this is coming from a huge fan of The Waking Dead Season One!

You might have given up on The Walking Dead, but if you had even bothered to check the reviews for their new games, let alone played them, you would know that there is no reason at all to be negative. They were also called 'Telltale Games' last time I checked, not 'The Walking Dead Games'.

I'm very fucking disappointed with Telltale! I've watched interviews to hear what they say about their company, and they have all this stupi

  • I'm actually relieved they delayed it until February. You see, if they need to take their time and make it better, then so be it. I remember when A House Divided took awhile to release, but that episode ended up being one of the better ones in season 2. Wish they did that with the remaining episodes.

I get the feeling that they are slightly more restricted when it comes to taking fan feedback to change story aspects due to Michonne being a canon comic character, unlike some of Telltale's other games we are directly controlling a canon character so most of the story will likely be finished and approved by Skybound before they have released the episodes and will need to finish at a set point for her story to continue in the comics.

Well in Tales From the Borderlands, they added romance into the game due to all of the shipping threads that were going on in the TFTBL section. The developers clearly stated in an AMA that it came as a result of fan response to the game. There was also this really funny joke where you can have Rhys say that Vaughn, after he was shot with a paralyzing dart, will be back to normal soon, prompting Loader Bot to say "Soon lack data, soon sucks," which obviously comes from Telltale's over use of the word "soon" when it comes to their games, especially with Tales which had 3-4 month waits.

As for The Walking Dead, I believe I read somewhere that the choice to kill or help Larry in Episode 2 came as a result of fan feedback, since so many people hated him after he had punched Lee in Episode 1.

To add more about Walking Dead feedback, they noticed that people would make certain decisions depending on whether or not Clementine was in the room (i think people where more agressive or violent when she wasn't around) so they would use Clementines presence to influence some payers choices.

Another thing they changed due to playtesters feedback was adding the scene in season 1 episode 5 where Ben left Clementine near the beginning due to too many people saving him in the bell tower, by adding that scene it took the save/drop Ben choice outcome down to a more even result.
