TV Show counterparts? (I know the game is canon to the comic and not TV)

Do you guys think there's a Lee, Clem, Kenny, etc. TV counterpart in the show's universe somewhere? I'd like to think so, but I hope we never get to see them (just in case they get ruined). The TV show is based on the comics, which the game is canon to, so I think it's safe to say that the game characters do exist in the show universe as well, even though their story might be completely different and they probably didn't meet Glenn or Hershel. If they exist, Lee might have not meet Clem, or he might be alive, or things could've gone differently... What do you guys think? I'm not saying they should appear and meet Rick's group (I hope they won't), but do you guys think they exist somewhere?

  • Nope. There's no Daryl in the comics, so why would there be a Clem, Lee, and Kenny in the TV show?

Well, most of the comic characters existed in the TV show, there were exceptions like Ben and Billy, Rachel and Susie, Chris and Julie, Dexter (I guess Andrew or Oscar was his counterpart), Gabe (I'm guessing Merle could be his role counterpart) or Bruce (Shumpert?), Doctor Stevens, Douglas, etc, who were gender-swapped or didn't exist at all, but many of them did exist, so that's why I figured game characters existed too.

  • I also assume that, somewhere out there, there is a Clem, Lee, Kenny, etc., but I'd rather the show not bring them in. They'd never be able to write them the way the game has done, I'm not saying they would be bad, but they'd be nowhere near as likable or developed as their game counterparts.

  • Yeah, I'm kind of hoping they actually do exist, but they aren't showing us. It's better that way.

  • Yeah, I think there's definitively a TV Lee, Kenny, Clem, etc , and they could have lived exactly the same, cause since Ep2, the game has been independent of cross-overs. Although, I hope Lee survived in the Tv world.. maybe?

  • That's what I like to think, that they're all alive and surviving together.

  • Well... Lee, Kenny and Clementine are all still alive in the Walking Dead: Road to Survival mobile role-playing game.

Yeah but that game is set in the comic universe as well. The characters in that game are the comic counterparts.
