Silly Fan Theory: A childrens show has been displaying Clementine's childhood!
I home during winter break working on stuff for my college's engineering group. My mom's daycare kids are watching Caillou. Caillou has a friend; a little black girl named... you guessed it: Clementine! I laughed and then took a second look. Well...
The dress. The pig tails. The shade of melanin. And I got to thinking, what this show shows is Clem's childhood prior to the apocalypse? What if we already knew what she liked all along? Where are her friends? Are they dead? What if she meets them in the future? What if she meets Caillou? What if he is a bad person? What if she has to kill him? Where are the Dragonballs? Find out on the next episode of Dragonball!

This kinda reminds me of that theory about "Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy," where the show is supposedly showing the characters in the afterlife. But your theory is less uh, depressing lol. And yours is more fun. XD

Lol it's just a theory. And the creators of Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy confirmed it's not true so.
It reminds me of the infamous Buffy:The Vampire Slayer theory that says Buffy is just hallucinating everything that happens.

Any theories for what happened to Caillou after the zombie apocalypse?
According to the Caillou wiki:
Clementine is Caillou's cute and very pretty female best friend and his only African American friend. Along with Leo, she first appreared in the season 1 episode Caillou at daycare. In this episode she was nice to Caillou and showed him the art supplies in the classroom. Like Caillou and Leo, she is 4 years old. Despite her cuteness and beauty, she is sometimes a little bossy but overall she is understanding. In Caillou's Holiday Movie, she celebrates Kwanaza.
Clementine has an older brother named Billy. Clementine and Caillou somehow live within walking distance and two subway stops away.
1). Therefore the show is set 4 years before Lee meets Clementine is Season 1.
2). Kwanzaa is a week-long holiday honoring African culture and traditions. It falls between December 26 and January 1 each year. Maulana Karenga, an African-American leader, proposed this observance and it was first celebrated between December 1966 and January 1967. So Clemetine's family didn't celebrate Christmas?
3). CLEMENTINE HAS/HAD AN OLDER BROTHER?! (wait, then why wasn't he in the family picture?)
I've met people who celebrate both Kwanzaa and Christmas, so Clem's family could also. The brother died of Lou Gehrig's Disease. Clem and her mom have Vitiligo, thus explaining why they went from brown to light-skinned in 4 years time.
