Here's a random thing I just came up with.
Ugh, I’m just going to text Sasha. Fiona began to type away to her sister, mainly about her plan of not hearing Rhys’ voice failing.
“Who are you texting?” Rhys peeks over Fiona’s shoulder. “H-hey! Are you texting your sister about me?! I see those rude words!” This is when Fiona’s anger peaked and exploded over, much like a volcano erupting.
“You’re so damn nosy!” Fiona grabs no his cheek and pulls it tightly, “stop being so friggin’ annoying!”
“OW OW OW! LET GO! YOU’RE HURTING MY CHEEEEK!” Rhys shrieked. Why do you have to always be in my business?!Can I not have some quiet time without you interrupting it?! You always have to be there by my side...I’m getting tired of it! Fiona thought as she continued to pull on his cheek, the intensity of his cry growing as the moments went by. After hearing enough, the teacher who has the misfortune of teaching these two, slammed down his hands on his desk.
“Okay Fiona, enough! As much as I like seeing you hurt Rhys, my ears can’t take his cries of pain any longer.” Jack grabbed a nearby book and tapped Fiona’s head with it, rather hard actually. She winced and instantly let go out Rhys’ cheek.
“Sir, he keeps on annoying me! How do you not comprehend this?!” Better question, how does Rhys not understand this?!
“Why don’t you tell him to his face then? Look at him in the eyes and say that.” Jack commanded. Wait, what?! No way!
“I-I can’t!” Fiona’s heart started to beat faster.* Why couldn’t she look him in the eyes? It wasn’t because he was taller, no, though that would be a nice excuse since she doesn’t want to break her neck to look at his ugly face. There was something more to it, and she knew but she didn't want to accept that fact. For now she'll just have to come up with a lie. * “He’s too ugly to look at. What, with his bed hair and chubby cheeks! Rhys, do you honestly even care about your appearance?!”
“I woke up late, okay!?” Rhys sighs. “If it’ll help, I’ll go clean up. It that fine?” Fiona nods, she just wanted him out of the room for a bit. She continued to look out the window until she heard the classroom door open and close behind her. Her heartbeat starts to slow down, regulating back to its normal pace. There’s a part of her that doesn’t want to see his face but the other half desperately wants to see how much he can really make himself look good just for her. she sighs heavily.
“You two are the most hopeless kids I’ve ever seen in my life. That’s saying a lot considering how many kids I’ve taught in these remedial classes.”
