Was TWD Season 2 $25 at launch? When I bought it, it cost $20.
I hope it's 40€ and that they use their most popular series to have a HUGE jump technologically speaking because i think it's about time they make that jump and really provide us something new and never before seen

tbh I have a weird feeling that Season 3 will have 6 episodes instead of 5 since it may be the final season of twd, and in honesty I can't see it going for more after that so. So around 25 or thirty bucks for the whole season.
Yes (and it's still $25 regularly priced). The five episodes for $25 pricing range of Telltale's games started with Back to the Future in 2010. All of Telltale's games since then have followed that format, except if they had more episodes (Law & Order: Legacies had 7 for $20, Game of Thrones has 6 for $30) or if they were single games (like Poker Night 2, which was $5). The exception was Hector: Badge of Carnage, which was priced at higher than $5 an episode at launch, probably because it was part of a publishing and developing deal between Telltale Games and Straandlooper.
The seasons can be purchased on sale for less than that after the season premieres (and usually can get the first episode for free on consoles, tablets, and phones, so you can pick up the season pass for just $20 near the end of the season), but currently all Telltale games are priced at $5 per episode at launch.

Wait for the season to fully be released the season pass will then be set to 20 bucks which I recommend because who the hell wants to wait to play a game that you bought to play
Well maybe because Season 2 wasn't as good as I was expecting. So really my expectations for 3 are pretty low.
Well, they might be spending more time on Season 3 to make sure it has a higher quality story than Season 2 did.

When i was waiting for episodes releases in season one, i was fanatic. I'd go on the forums almost every day, think about what was going to be in the next episode and then when episode 2 came a long, i had solid expectations, not as high as season one but still good, and it turned me off. Hate to say it, but Kenny was the only thing keeping me playing season two. I blame it on poor writing and lack of effort. Hopefully Season 3 is an improvement but like you, my expectations are low, mainly because with so many different endings in season two, they're either going to make a new story, or connect it all to Clementine and kill off Kenny and Jane like they did with Christa and her baby.

Not in the slightest. They were still working on Law and Order, and had two other titles announced at the time - Fables (later revamped as Wolf Among Us to include the choice system) and King's Quest (a puzzle adventure game cancelled for Walking Dead: Season 2).
When Walking Dead: Season 1 was announced, Telltale was also working on Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Law and Order, Wolf Among Us (in an earlier state), Puzzle Agent 2, Hector, and King's Quest.
Was Walking Dead: Season 1 the only game released at the time? Yes
Was it the only game they were working on or had announced? Nope. Not at all.
Even when Telltale had like 60-90 people before/during Walking Dead: Season 1, they were still working on other projects, and people ignore that Telltale has since more than tripled in size over those few years (currently at around 320+ people) and think that Telltale concentrating on only one game at once is some magic recipe for success because out of Telltale's 10 year history, they only care about one year (2012) and ignore all the times Telltale made multiple quality games at once with less than 1/3 of their current staff size.
cheer up remorse, i know season 2 wasnt too great as season 1 but i got hope for season 3, i hope telltale make a great story and choice. i am big fans of telltale so i will make sure that telltale wouldnt let you down. peace and love for all telltale fans
The thing that's always annoyed me with TellTale's games is their janky animations. Everything about the characters is so human except their movements.
Maybe it's the growth of their team which lead to writer's disagreeing and ending up with a compromised final product?
Or, maybe the writers just aren't perfect. Many of the writers/directors of Season 2 that people criticize went on to make successful episodes of Wolf, Borderlands, etc.
Season 1 of Walking Dead and a couple earlier TTG series also had different writers and directors for each episode.
