Just finished TWD: Season 2

Just completed the game with the (SPOILERS) ending where me and Kenny and AJ are still together, but I didn't feel much in the finale. I felt something when Kenny was willing to sacrifice himself for me and AJ but not much. I don't know why but when I think back to it, I don't feel much even though I love Kenny, Clementine and AJ.
I guess you could say I just wasn't satisfied. Anybody else who felt similar?

  • I was only feeling something strong when i wanted Jane to be killed. She was annoying from the start and lied to get a mental unstable man to lose his shit. I actually felt bad for Luke even though i hated him throughout the season because i'd rather him at the end then Jane, and build Luke up as one of the main characters and have him die quickly and let Jane live. I was happy that i got to be with Kenny but the fact that he is now a determinant character and given their history and the fact that there was multiple endings, It's going to be hard to see what they'll do to fix it.

Hopefully they really think Season 3 through, I felt Season 2 lacked clear direction.

  • I didn't feel much in the finale either, I really hope season 3 will be outstanding. Too bad some of the writers from season 1 has left Telltale, hopefully it won't go down hill from here.

    Two words:

    Incredibly unsatisfied.

  • They left? For what reason?

  • The finale left me so unsatisfied, yeah. But I was happy to see Kenny finally get put out of his misery. I'll admit, while I hated him, it was pretty sad watching the poor bastard suffer so long. I went with Jane and the Family.

  • To start their own company. At least some of them. They've got a new game called Firewatch coming out in a few months.

  • Welcome to the forums! Congratulations on presumably avoiding spoilers!

Plan to play any other Telltale games?

Definitely but not in the near future, the feels trip from TWD has left me not wanting to play any more games right now. But as soon as this passes I'm looking to go through The Wolf Among Us, it looks interesting.

  • I wanted to do that as well but in the end I was too selfish to let him go. Still don't know if it was the right decision, that speech he gave made it sound like he wanted to go but after all we've been through I couldn't find the strength to leave him.
