,........................ Race don't matter. Personally I don't see the upset at being a black protag some people have. It always comes across as. "Why do I have to play as a minority underrepresented in media and games? I want to be the guy whose represented 99% of the time, it's not fair."
That would actually Be a good idea! I mean i will Most definetly Play Season 3 And i Hope, that Clementines Story continues. As an npc or playable character. I will take Both.
Well it was poorly worded by Kenny/Lee but if someone said for example "I'd love to play as an Hispanic character", they are saying the exact same thing. That they want to play someone who isn't black.
She was great as a supporting character, but a poor choice for a protagonist. Clem is a major reason why the second season was a lot less interesting than the first. Child protagonists just do not work in the Walking Dead universe.

Anyone but Clem.

If it doesn't matter at all, what do you care if someone wants to play as a different race? It shouldn't matter to you. You only care because it does matter to you.
Umm, no. that's a bizarre way to try and twist this around on me. I don't care what the race of the character is. Kenny/Lee wants it to be white. I don't really understand why, so I asked.

I don't know Kenny/Lee but because he includes Lee in his name I assume that he is at least fond of him, and Lee being black probably means he isn't a racist. So my guess (and I could be wrong) is that he wants to get more into the game, and it's easier to do by playing as a character he can identify with more easily, and it's someone with the same skin color.

I wouldnt mind if the protagonist was Hispanic or Asian or some other race thats not well represented. They did a good job of that with 400 Days. I Just wish we got more of it.
"Why do you want a brand new character?"
"Because they're black."

Not digging at you btw.
I think it's the character model for Season 1 to blame. Clementine's skin looks very pale in the first season, and because of her eyes, some people in the past have also mistaken her for Asian. Even me when I was first playing Season 1, I didn't realize she was black until I replayed episode 1 again and took another look of the photograph of Clementine with her parents. I'm glad in Season 2 they gave Clementine a darker skin tone to make that more obvious, but I feel terrible having made that mistake myself.
I don't think liking one single black character means you can't be remotely racist. I mean plenty of men who opposed women getting the vote had wives, who they presumably loved in most cases, but that doesn't mean we don't think of them opposing women's voting rights as misogynistic.

I kind of had this idea where in episode one you play as two characters; a new male and a new female badass. By the end of the episode, you get to choose who you want to play as for the rest of the season. But instead of the other character biting the dust, they become the 'second in command', making Clem an NPC again.
and labeling a person is the first way of dehumanizing them freeing you to spew garbage which you just did. You apparently feel free to label people without even knowing them... That personality type is very similar to that of a.............. racist.

Telltale didn't exactly do the best job with characters in Season 2. I want to play as Clementine in Season 3, as long as they actually develop her and make her a little more human again.
Would you ask the question if someone said they wanted to play an openly gay character since Lee was straight and Clementine is unknown? What if someone asked to play an Asian character? Would you insinuate that they could be a bigot of some kind or is it only because Kenny/Lee would like to play a white character?
Why would you feel "terrible"? There are a lot of people who are "black" with very pale skin. Just because someone is black doesn't mean they are 100% African. Her eye color strongly indicates a mixed race.

Clementine's mother seems to be mixed race, but her father is definitely 100% black. Clem obviously seems to get her light skin from her mother, but Clem's mostly black. She is still a child, though. As she ages, I'm sure her skin will darken like it has in Season 2. Not extremely dark like her father, but maybe a good in between.

I don't think race matters, personally. Why do you think it does?
You Know...that might Be Right. I would like it more to have Clem As a npc, too. But it would Seem Strange If they Switch her to npc now.
That's a terrible reason to want new characters.
Twice,
Oh, you mean
AND
AND NOW...
I think he meant Clem. Clem is black.

What is causing all these posters to get banned?

Uhhh..........no
Why does race matter?
Uh...yeah, sorry if that disappoints you.
No. Its all right
No it's just that the writers for S2 were bad.

how about Alvin jr.?
but clem would have to be at least mid 20's.
I'm hoping for a teenage Clem, around 14-15yo.
If she's not the pc I'm not buying S3.
That's probably a lie but I'll still be really dissapointed.

Alright let's get back at the topic at hand, we are kind of derailing it at this point.

I'm not labelling him as anything, I'm asking him a question.
A little like what Dishonoured 2 is going to do?
I don't know, seems very unlikely due to how much extra work it'd make.
You regularly say you dont want characters to be male or white so I dont know? I dont mind a characters race or gender.
I dont really want to play as clementine as she had such little character in season 2 and was too young to have a effective character

To be honest I find that dumb, I dont see why he feels the race of the character matters I'm just pointing out they have said the same.
wait you forgot michonne
Fixed it
It really doesn't matter, honestly. It's like you're just asking for a shit-show.
