No, not really. I could be 50 right now and I'd still be happy talking on here. I used to know a friend online named Nancy who was in her 60's and she loved being on a forum of this series we were into and talking to people about it, and there a handful of others in her age group as well. I don't think age means much on here when discussing a series, so long as it isn't anybody trying to invade on your personal life or details [even at my age I don't like giving out like my address or phone number, common sense.]

You don't grow out of games just because you become an adult, and I'm pretty sure there are other adults on here given this is a M-rated game. The only time I've felt weird is now with you asking that question

Sorry, lol. I just feel like for myself, Im thinking more and more, get out of here grandma lol. I love gaming and dont ever want to stop doing it completely, but sometimes I cant help wondering in the back of my mind if it should be left to kids. On the other hand, I love being able to play with my niece and nephews so I go back and forth. I think Im just getting pre-birthday blues.

Sorry to bring you down. ;)

  • I´m kind of interested in the show now that they are bringing one of my favorite characters, even if I only watch it to roll my eyes and say to me sister "uugh, the comicbook and videogame are soooo much better than this".

I´m sure the DLC will be great, but I don´t expected as much as season 3, which for me is the real deal.

  • Hmmm, I'm not actually sure, I think it depends on what it is. Games have been becoming more like interactive movies, more so over the last couple of years where you've games like The Last of Us or Until Dawn recently, and Telltale Games in general are just interactive shows. I remember something Andy Serkis said a few years ago for a game he was in, and he said that he believed the line between films and games is blurring and that one day we won't have games, they'll just become events. I think that'll be more true with the VR headsets games they're beginning to introduce, not sure how much that'll catch on though or if it'll just be a craze.

    And it's okay ;.; sorry.

  • Things are getting quite interesting in the show. If it's following the comics truly this time around, then the show. I haven't seen really anything except a picture on the game. I hope for the best on both.

  • I think with the Michonne thing, I'll watch the 1st episode online and then maybe buy it depending on how it is.

  • I don't like this...

    Getting 27

    Going ICE fishing

Thats generally what attracts me to gaming, being part of a great story, and I love that so many of them are like movies these days. I would love to try the VR thing at least once.

Im probably going to keep sticking around, I was, like I said, just feeling in a mood lately lol

But you enjoy your birthday fellow Aquarius (?). And dont end up like Luke, lol.

  • I stopped watching the show sometime during season 4.... it had just gotten so atrocious compared to previous seasons, all I could do is roll my eyes throughout every episode...

So yeah, really looking forward to Michonne more

  • Michonne i cant wait

  • Have a happy February birthday, KCohere! And don't feel bad about being older; I'm on the older side too apparently, but according to some surveys and polls I've seen on these forums there are plenty of people in their 20's and up on here. The younger peeps aren't necessarily the majority. We enjoy what we enjoy, and you don't ever have to feel ashamed of that, no matter your age.

  • I always prefer the story over the gameplay, but I still love my gameplay XD and yeah me too, I love to see what it's like to have one of those headsets on. Imagine if one day games go the way where you're able to both have a headset on and walk around; probably end up tripping over a coffee table but it'll be worth it lol

I'll try not to, I'll wear inflatable arm bands just to be on the safe side >.>

I really don't think that's going to happen.

The line may be blurring a little bit, sure, but at their core, games will still be games, no matter what happens down the line. No matter how much the lines may blur, the line's still gonna be there in some fashion. At most, you can argue that the definition of 'game' has started to shift/evolve over time, but what fundamentally makes a game a game -- from the days of pong and pac-man, to current day -- hasn't changed.

What I really hope we build towards is the day where games can be held in the same esteem as we hold film, television and books. There's so much potential for games as a story-telling medium, and I truly believe that games can one day stand next to the big three mediums of entertainment. I mean hey, there had to have been a time in the past when people would have never thought that film or television would catch on or become something more, right? Who's to say the same can't (or won't) happen with games?

  • Firewatch, Vkings S4, How to get Away With Murder S2, Michonne, TWD S6.

The one I'm REALLY looking forward tho is How to Get Away With A Murder, that mid-season finale really left me intrigued :/

  • Michonne cos I don't watch the show

  • Aww, you're sweet, thank you. :)

  • Well, everyone has their preferences as far as which medium they prefer. Nothing wrong with that.

  • Show sucks, Michonne series ofc. :)

  • Probably more excited about the michonne dlc

  • I don't watch the show, so Michonne is my answer. I really am hyped to see how it's gonna play out now that I read the comics.

Speaking of the comics, a new issue will be released on I believe January 13th. I know it's not February (duh), but I'm gonna mention that too. :)

  • Michonne to the MAX!

Also, seriously? Is it true Firewatch comes out that month too?!

I've been hyped for that since the first glimpse of gameplay...

  • Firewatch. I'll probably buy the Michonne dlc, but I'm expecting to be disappointed with material closer to S2 than S1.
