And on top of that, even ignoring the notable difference between how short a one month wait is compared to a two-four month wait, four weeks is nothing to scoff at even on its own. It goes by much quicker than you think, as long as you have other things to keep you occupied. I personally also thought the two week release between Episodes 1/2 of Minecraft was super cool, but I could see how some people would think that would go by too quick.
I don't really have that much of a problem with the waits anymore,I found some very good ways to keep me occupied ( ͡° ͜ʖ~)
Joking aside, the Minecraft release was really fast for me that I didn't notice it when EP2 was released. It is nice, but looking back at the waits for Tales,I kinda wish these days came back, they really made me enjoy this forum a lot.

I think a large part of why the two week part caught people off guard was that it was unannounced and super sudden. I think that, had Telltale given an advanced schedule, people would have known to expect it. I can see some people not liking the two week wait for being too quick, but speaking from experience with older Telltale titles, playing a Season over 5-6 months is still a good amount of time to feel a sense of community with other people while still not waiting an extended amount of time for an episode.
It will seem a bit foreign at first, but over time, the one month waiting periods will catch on and people will still be able to foster that sense of community over a five month period just like it had been with older Seasons. Of course, I think it would also help if Telltale gave an advance heads up that episodes would (genuinely) have a 4-5 week waiting period so that fans can brace themselves, but even so, a one month wait isn't as lightning fast as it sounds and I strongly hope Telltale sticks to that. I think a four-five week waiting period for each episode is the sweet spot of allowing people to feel that sense of community and camaraderie with other fans while still not waiting an extended amount of time for an episode.

I hope they stay true to the "tight schedule" and get this thing over with.
No need to be so excited about the series.
Jokes aside, I actually think it will be a breath of fresh air for Telltale to look outside of Clementine's story, kinda like how 400 Days (somewhat) did, even if 400 Days tied into Seasons 1 and 2. Even though I don't read the comics and I stopped watching the show around Season 3 or 4, I think it will be cool to be in the shoes of a more empowered character like Michonne. I hope it will be kind of like playing as Bigby from Wolf Among Us, but in the apocalypse (obviously, I'm not expecting Michonne to be as crazy powerful as Bigby is, but you get the idea).
I'm looking forward to the end of the michonne series so we can finally get some news about season 3. I hope they stay true to the "tight schedule" and get this thing over with.
February 17th.

I don't mind waiting for games, fix all the bugs & stuff, putting in little details, whatever they're doing is cool with me, the thing that concerns me is canceling games that I like (O_O) This thread Reminds me of Elder Scrolls Skyrim when you talk to a guard npc "I hate the waiting the god damned waiting"
Not so fast! If Feb. 16 is the release date, that would be Tuesday of that week, but TTG usually don't release new episodes on the XBox 360/XB1 systems until the following day, a Wednesday. Feb. 17 is a Wednesday.

I Didn't mean TellTale, I meant any games that people hear about way before the release date & get excited about, only for it to get cancelled months/years later & hoping it doesn't happen in this case, I can handle waiting...but cancelling The Walking Dead series would be heartbreaking
It's still ten days until it's even Febuary. Telltale usually announces the release date of a new Episode around a week before the actual re… morelease. Besides, there are still five weeks before Febuary actually ends, almost six even. And the Episode seems to have been almost ready when they announced the delay, I'm actually pretty sure that they could have released it then and just decided to do the entire second Episode (and possibly even the third one) before releasing the first Episode. Telltale also wouldn't want to announce a false release date twice in a row, even if the first one was planned, to not anger fans more.
So no. I think there's no reason to worry about it not coming out in Febuary. The only question remaining is when in Febuary. And knowing Telltale, it might well be the 23rd. At least Febuary has only 29 days, this way they can't release it on the 30th.
I have never played a game from Hideo Kojima. (Except for that demo. I should really look into his other games.) But, I was excited for Silent Hills, it looked good, played pretty good, and was SUPER spooky. Then it got cancelled. My heart was broken.
Also, I should point out that I deleted the demo of PT because my PS4 was getting too full, and then Konami pulled the demo from the store and servers, and I realised it too late. Heh, can't download it now. Konami, why you do dis?
February 17th.

Hey that actually sounds really cool. I haven't looked at it that way. I'd love some choices like "Slice his throat/Slice his kneecap" instead of "Go for the baby/Go for cover"

Don't get too excited, fellow players. They said that Michonne will premiere in February but they never stated when. It may as well be released in the last week of February . :P
I'm in Telltale withdrawal right now, it has been a while since I've seen some activity from them. Ugh, waiting sucks, and I've been through that TFTB EP2 wait.

If it makes you feel better, think how nice it will be to have Telltale going back to a quick, consistent schedule once February hits (if their Minecraft releases for Episodes 1-4 are any indication).
sobs. sobs more. Sobs even more. Dies of waiting.

What the hell dude, stop spoiling the F17 surprises!
February 16th is real.
Except February 17 never will : (

Telltale hasn't cancelled any game recently? A bit confused there.
The first release date is what matters, since it's officially out then.
#F16
Every time anyone says about cancelling games I think about Silent Hill PT (;-; ) I really really need to get over this

Exactly, perfect example

so its confirmed that yr from telltale and its confirmed that michonne is releasing on 23rd
Nope and nope. Just being a realist.

We might very well get choices like that, if this previous tweet from the Skybound Panel a while back is anything to go by:
