Anyway, I got to thinking about how traumatized Rhys would be after the Battle of Helios. The fanfic “Starting Now” by sheisme-iamshe covers a little bit of what I personally headcanon would happen after and how Rhys would gradually come to terms with destroying Helios.
I mean, living with Jack in his head...having Jack try to kill him using his own body...Rhys is definitely going to have some issues. I hope that we get to see him dealing with this, because there is NO way it didn't mess him up a little, and Sasha helping him through it in future installments of Borderlands would be awesome to see.
Speaking of future installments, I'm really curious about their future and where the 2K and Telltale crews will take their relationship; personally, I think it'd be best if they did a Bioware-style import system if they decide to continue their relationship in Borderlands 3, so those that didn't have them fall in love will still get to have the story they created and we get ours I heard that they did something like that for Clem in TWD season 2 based on how Lee treated her; haven't gotten around to season 2 yet myself though so I'm not 100% what or how this was achieved, or if it even was.
