You can't play if you bought it from another region :/
If you have bought The Walking Dead Season 1 & 2 from another regiona nd want your choices to continue in The Walking Dead: Michonne..........well too bad you can't. The Walking Dead: Michonne will only be digital

why do games region lock this is a questikn that has confused me for ages for examplei can play japanese games on my ps4 as alot of them i cant get in uk but certain us games dont work on my ps4
Michonne game is stand alone, choices from season 1 & 2 won't affect it anyway (I think)
Telltale already said it's a stand alone series. Choices will not carry over from other Seasons, which wouldn't make sense anyway because the stories are completely detached from each other.
The choices mades on Michonne will affect season 3
I hoping this is false and made up because then this means season 3 will be after another 2+ year timeskip
Well, I am not 100% sure from where I heard this, but I think it was said that " You certainly will want to play The Michonne mini-series before season 3 ", and that probably means that it is going to affect ( just like 400 days ), but probably in the episode 3+, not in the first 2, since they need to get all 5 endings at one point.
We also have to remember that it was first released as a DLC, so, tecnicaly, it would be part of season two, and choices on season 2 will ( obviously ) affect season 3.
