Why Lee is not dead

The beginning of the game in the squad car gave it away. When the officer was talking about how people will lose their minds when they lose hope. He then lost control of his squad car after hitting a homeless person walking in the road. When Lee woke up his mind had changed the world he lived in. He killed the injured cop, and his mind created Clementine as a coping mechanism. Throughout the story Lee creates people that represent different aspects of his mind.

Clementine is the most dominant who acts as a way for Lee to cope with killing his wife. Kenny represents his survivalist side. The conflicts he has are in his own mind. He murders his parents, and brother because they could destroy his illusion. He was never really locked away in a meat freezer. It was a prison cell after he had been arrested. His Kenny persona killed his Larry persona. It wasn't Clementine who climbed out the air vent, it was Lee. One by one he eliminates different aspects of his personality. Some are actual people, others imaginary.

Finally at the end of Season 1 he can no longer cope. He destroys himself, and Clementine is what remains. He is walking around believing he is a little girl while sometimes acting as Kenny or Jane or others. (Think of Fight Club). When AJ enters the scene it is Lee's actual self attempting to come back. Kenny, and Clementine want to protect it. Jane not so much. The new season will have Clementine, and AJ as the two dominant roles. One is Lee trying to regain his mind (AJ) while Clem helps him hold on tot he fantasy of himself being innocent.

  • Okay, all this can't be true. The game is set on the comic universe.

  • Sigh, there's another thread like this again.

How do you know Rick Grimes isn't in a coma, or similar situation? Remember Rick started this from a coma. He could still be in that coma, or suffered brain trauma.

  • There is? About Lee being insane, and everything is in his mind?

  • It's a good theory. But it's fantasy, considering Robert Kirkman has said that Rick isn't in a coma.

  • Didn't say he wasn't insane though! lol.... This is all in good fun. It's not a theory I'd be willing to debate because I only think there is a sliver of a chance.
