Who did you kill in The Ice Dragon?

I killed Ludd, I had Asher poison him, even though Lady Forrester died from it. I felt like killing Ludd would send the Whitehills into despair. Though it would have been satisfying to kill Gryff, I choose to be practical over my emotions.

Tell me what you guys did. :3

  • I did the exact opposite aha!
As Rodrick, I chose to follow Gryff in the purpose of killing him and rescueing Ryon.
But rescueing Ryon wasn't the main goal; I didn't want to get ride of Ludd for some reasons:
If they give you the choice, I understood one of them will survive.

1st: I wanted to make him pay for how he treated the Forresters. Killing him first was a merciful thing to give him, and I didn't want to.

2nd: also, if season 2 is gonna be following the season 1, I wanted to see Ludd again. Hopefully winning this time. ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ ...

Also yes, Gryff sucks as a commander and don't seem to be the man his father is, but I feared that killing Ludd would make his men and Gryff angry while killing Gryff would hit on the morale the same way it hit us with the Asher's thing.

It didn't have as consequences as I thought (for now) but here was what went on my mind while playing.

  • I killed Ludd, as Roderik. Ludd is much more dangerous, with him Gryff will fail and there will be in fighting between the Whitehills. I figured as Gryff is incompetent, the Whitehills will lose their morale for battle.
I feel bad as it endagered Ryon but I was thinking like a general and of everyone in Ironrath- though it is satisfying to see Gryff beg

  • Gryff as Asher. Ambush.

  • So violent and amazing.

    Gryff as Asher. Ambush.

  • ikr? I know some people said that it wasn't satisfying to kill Gryff as Asher, but it was satisfying enough for me.

  • I feel like the worst characters deserve to be impaled through the gut with prejudice (Britt and Gryff).

  • I killed Ludd cause with that way, Gryff would become Lord of House Whitehill and he will probably bring doom to his own house, since I don't think he's capable of being Lord just yet.

  • I killed Lady Forrester.

  • Yep. Agreed. That's why I did the ambush and that's why I made Britt suffer in Ep. 3.

  • Torrhen still exists. Gryff won't be lord.

  • Yeah, but only if Torrhen comes to Ironrath/Highpoint.

If not, then Gryff will be lord until Torrhen comes :P

  • I killed Ludd as Rodrik, because:

"How do you kill a snake, then? By smashing its head."
"Gryff isn't the head. It's his father!"

Ludd was the biggest threat to the Forresters, so of course I was going to eliminate him first. I also had to fulfill my Rodrik's words: "I am going to kill that man."

  • Yeah, right.

    You can't fool us, Scrub.

    I killed Mira

  • Killed Gryff as Rodrik. Gryff wasn't the primary objective, saving Ryon was, both for emotional and practical reasons. It did feel great as f#ck to kill the bloody scum though, so I won't complain.

Also, I agreed to marry Morgryn, seeing as if you're alive, you can always do at least something.

  • Thank you sir.

    You're a god damn hero.

  • That was in another save!

    Runs away

  • Oh my God, this episode... So much pain...
I killed Gryff as Rodrik, agreed to marry Morgryn and got Tom executed, not to mention I killed Wight Finn as Gared..

  • You and I are of a similar mind, my friend

Yep. Agreed. That's why I did the ambush and that's why I made Britt suffer in Ep. 3.
