  • What i meant was that you generaly felt it was a waste of time in the episode. Since that connection was probably the only reason they did that scene (Aside from giving Spencer closure and saying Carl sees Michonne as a mother figure). Normally when a person dislikes something they look for more reasons to dislike it.

Basically i meant that you felt the whole side plot with Denna zombie was pointless or unnecesary and that that time would have been better spent developing other characters like Abraham or the like. Therefore when you saw the apparent reason they did that you went to a negative conclusión, that the show dedicated half an episode for a cheap emotion scene.

So yeah instead of typing that whole bunch of sentences i tried to say it in one. Sorry if it bothered or confused you.

  • I'm saying making the people kill their loved ones while traveling with a group of zombie killing machines is a cheap emotional ploy. saying that its been used before only proves that it is cheap and easily thrown in.

  • I dissagree, just because its been done before does not mean its cheap. And it wasn't 'easily thrown in' this was a scene the clearly put some thought into to to evoke sadness in the audience.

  • I had to refresh my memory too. I re-read issues 92-96 yesterday if im correct. Do that, its paul's introducement and the hilltop trip along with rick murdering that guy

What exactly happened there? It's been a couple months since I read through the comics, but I don't remember this happening, especially sinc

  • and if you go back and watch the scene where Carl kills Lori, she straight up tells Maggie to do it, that it shouldn't be Rick because it would destroy him. that MAggie should do it. Oh and a scene put in just to "evoke sadness in the audience" is the definition of a cheap emotional ploy.

  • Is it just me or did I never see a Preview for this Episode after the Premier aired?

  • What about when Glenn took a joy ride in that sports car?

Lool, the ending was hilarious, first time I have laughed to The Walking Dead.

  • That was a fun scene :3

  • That and him calling Rick a dumbass cemented Glenn's title of My Favorite Walking Dead Character.

  • I remember the scene where Daryl called him Asian and he corrects him by saying "I'm Korean" and then later on Daryl corrects Meryl :)

In addition to the Paul 'Jesus' discussion. How come AMC's THE WALKING DEAD's official Facebook posted this? I thought he said his name was

  • Daryl calls him a Chinaman, and Glenn corrects him. It wouldn't make sense otherwise since Glenn is Asian. That's like someone saying 'You're American.' and you answer 'No, I'm from Texas.'
