rate michonne

How many stars for michonne out of 5 nd why?

Comments

  • I give the first episode 4 out of 5 stars so far, but just because it didn't make me care for the other characters much, since Michonne is so absolutely fantastic. For her as a character, 5 out of 5. Telltale did a great job allowing us to stay true to her character, with lots of one-liners and lots of opportunities to stay silent and not be killed for it, which is VERY important for a character like Michonne since she is a very quiet character. But I am biased because she is my favourite character in The Walking Dead (series, comics, books and games, Michonne is the best in all of them).

I noticed that a lot of lets players didn't stay true to her character, though. Michonne doesn't make angry comments at people who are threatening her. She doesn't answer questions, not even if she is being beaten up. She stays silent and takes whatever punishment comes with that defiance.

But oh well, staying silent is an option, so yay.

  • I'd give it a 1.5/10

  • Didn't you rate it 4/10 the other day?

    I'd give it a 1.5/10

  • Sometimes my initial ratings get lower with time, after I watch other people's choices and what happens when I do something different. Maybe it is like that for him too.

Didn't you rate it 4/10 the other day?

But a 1.5 out of 10? Isn't that like a bit extreme. A 4 at least makes sense (kinda).

  • I don't know. I'm pretty biased, I would still rate it high no matter what just because Michonne is in it :T

I dont know why the people love her so much. She is complex sometimes but her development is not that good. I guess people really like her mostly because of her look and katana.

When you read and watch everything that there is about TWD, you can get a bigger picture of her.

She is my favorite character because of how she faces her enemies. She is extremely skilled, she can't be broken and she isn't fooling around to look like a smartass.

  • Oh, Yes. She is not bad... But her development Isnt the best...
But in the comics she will be a leader, probably, so lets wait..

Thats not the only reason I love Michonne, although Im more fond of the tv version. Following her these past few seasons has shown me that she has a lot of depth in her character. Starting off as this silent sphynx who saw dead people to this woman who smiles and loves so openly. Yeah, her kitana skills are great but I genuinely fine her interesting.

Which makes his rating all the more puzzling. Watching a playthrough is not the same as playing it yourself.

He also says he hasn't played it, either.

  • Ok so somewhere I commented on this and that thread is no longer here. So here it goes again.

    1) I did not like the graphics. It looked all a bit too airbrushed to me. I liked the visuals of Seasons 1 and 2 more.

    2) This was utterly boring. Sorry. Nothing really happens. The story starts off somewhere in the middle with these characters we know nothing about being thrown into a situation we know nothing about. I did not care about any of them - be it the siblings or Michonne herself - and no one was really likeable. It would have been nice if they had gone back to how all this ZA stuff started for Michonne, instead it is just a story about her somewhere in the middle of the ZA and before she meets Andrea and Ricks team.

    3) I really dislike the way this game is supposed to play - just hit E or Q once to kill a zombie. You no longer have to aim and focus to kill them or do any complicated moves like Lee had to do at the train station on the way to Savannah etc. it really did not give me a sense of being in control. As long as I just hit E or Q when the scene prompts me, I was fine. I thought that was boring. Also, the whole "wheel" that tells you what you are about to do as you approach a task. Was annoying and confusing. Why fix it if it aint broken? WHat was wrong with how the controls were handled and displayed in Seasons 1 and 2?

    4) None of the writers and showrunners and graphic designers from Season 1 and 2 was working on this and it showed. I hope those folks will be back for season 3

    5) Really did not like that there was an intro with vocals like some TV show. It is distracting and I cant skip it.

Overall: I give this episode a 2 out of 5. Boring, unlikeable characters, too short, nothing happens, not much to do, controls have been changed. Im rather disappointed. sorry. :(

I rate it a 10 out of 10. I felt like Leonidas from 300 each time Michonne swung her machete; the slow mo effect was great, and the episode ended on a very high note. Defiantly will be buying ep 2. I only had a small problem with the confusing directional QTEs, it was annoying but I eventually got use to it.

  • I did like the blood effect on the keys so you know when you hit it. Very clever.

  • New combat and the black bars are baaaaaaad

    2/10

  • 2, really? This must be the worst game you ever played. Nearly unplayable.

  • I have a feeling that when the series concludes and hindsight comes into play, the ratings will even out, even rise. Im also curious to see how season three stacks up on account of this. If its exactly the same type of graphics, gameplay, everything, amd people are rating it 9 and 10, then it will feel like something is up.

  • 7, she got a nice booty.

wait we're not talking about the character? lol nvm I don't have an opinion.

  • She has a certain beauty to her. That in which I haven't seen in the comics or the t.v. show

  • Notice how the only thing that he mentions as a minus are the black bars.

Look at her wearing her suit for work!

She used to be a lawyer. I was very surprised when I learned that.

    5/5

I just felt that the game captured Michonne's personality and emotions rather nicely, I enjoyed the story despite having many slow parts which is quite a surprise to me, I liked the music and the action sequences were great, I just hope that my decisions as Michonne will have some effect in the next two Episodes. It gave me what I expected, and more.

  • Explains her thirst for justice :3

  • 10/10; would bang.

but for real, I'd say a 4 katanas out of 5.

  • I rated it a 7.5 on the other thread. The writing has improved a bit from Season 2 but the story isn't anything amazing but has time to pick up and improve. Overall a short episode but has it's moments

  • Those were there in TFTBL, so not new.

  • I rate it five decapitated walker heads out of five. It was very nice and I loved it.

  • 8/10 because she is strong and i like her moves

  • 9/10 for me. It has a slow start and some of its character development isn't particularly very strong, but like the previous seasons, it has a very gripping story and great atmosphere atmosphere and had much more fluid action sequences than Seasons 1 and 2.
