If, you could choose one story from 400 Days.
That you would haved liked to be longer , which one would you choose and why?.
And, if you have any good ideas, about what they could have written in that extra time tell that aswell.
I personally, would have loved to play another few hours of the dynamic duo Nate & Russel.
The way, they interacted with eachother was really funny, also it would be intressting to see, what else of crazy shit Nate, would get up to, and what my dialouge options as Russel would have been.

I enjoyed Nate and Russel as well, but I think I would have wanted to see more of Eddie and Wyatt, which would likely involve Nate.
Or alternatively, maybe a whole new story I would have added. I felt that between the end of Shel's story and the Epilogue, there was missed opportunity, but you know, it is what it is.
I liked Russel and Nate the most as well. Nate was a very interesting character to me, I really hoped to see him in s2 but too bad I guess...
Yeh, they really wasted allot of potential with 400 days.
The storys felt way to short, and i actually really enjoyed most of them while playing, and i was dissapointed, they where over so soon.
Not to mention that besides Bonnie, everyone else were reduced to cameos in Season 2 and had no role whatsoever.
Yeah and Bonnie was the lamest of them all imo :S . ( Lame as in characterwise, her story was pretty good )
Yes, her character was lame, and in my opion the story wasn't so good.
There's a few. I'd love to see more Vince, Wyatt and Eddie, Russel and Nate. But if I had to pick one it'd be Russel, he seemed the most interesting character to me.
Shel's story, without a second thought.
I would've liked to learn about Boyd, Joice and Clive—the first two in particular—their outlooks on the apocalypse, their moral standards, their past lives, their relationship with Brie, Vernon, and those who died escaping the community of Crawford. I wanted to learn what happened after they stole the boat, and how they got separated with Vernon. Those three seemed like interesting people.
Spending more time with Roman and Stephanie would've been good. If I remember correctly, an unused line revealed that both of them were traveling together before they found the pitstop; that should've been explored when we find out that Steph tried to ditch him and the rest of the group. I would've loved to see Roman's evolution over time, before and after Dee stole supplies from them, and after Roberto's appearance. By the way, I'm still convinced it was hinted that Shel and Stephanie were in a relationship.
If we had known more about all of them, the decision would've had much more weight, especially if Boyd was alive, because he tells Shel to take off as soon as possible. Will you take off with your sister for your own good, at the expense of abandoning everyone else who know, and putting them at risk by breaking the compound's barrier?
You just made me like Shell's story allot more, excellent post
To be honest, we should have just played as Bonnie at each point and then joined tavia at the end. Choice could effect who was with us and who joined the community also.
Personally, I thought Russell was the most boring/lamest out of them all.
He was easily overshadowed by Nate who was an entertaining and disturbing individual who made more of an impact in his appearance than Russell did, and his story barely accomplished anything other than giving Russell the opportunity to tell Nate off and refuse to gun down the elderly couple shooting them down.
Russell. Just for Nate
I wasnt a big fan of Russel, but i think the combo of both him and Nate makes for an awesome story.
The way they interacted with eachother was just brilliant, here we have this small dude who is abit of a whimp, and on ther otherside theres Nate, who is a damn psycho, it felt like i was playing a comedy, in the walking dead and that was a really diffrent way of approaching a story that is set up in TWD universe, and i liked it lol
Russell and Nate, like most people say.
I still really wished Nate had returned as a primary antagonist in at least one Episode of Season 2. But alas ;-;
Vince: I wish you could shoot Justin AND have Vince join Tavia's group.
Wyatt: It was fine.
Russell: It was fine.
Bonnie: It was fine.
Shel: I woulda liked to SEE Roberto's group attacking the diner. (if you spared Roberto)
That's pretty much it.
Season 3. Let's hope
I liked Eddie and Wyatt. It gave me some good laughs. A precursor to the fun I had playing Tales. Also, what happened to Eddie?
Nah. It'd be more interesting to see how they met.
He became a silhouette in the original Amid the Ruins episode slide and was never heard from again.
I wouldn't wish that fate to my worst enemy.
Russell n' Nate's, or Eddie and Wyatt.
Also, despite it not counting as one of the "stories," I would of liked to see more of the end.
They could had perhaps swapped Arvo and the Russians for Nate and a few like minded thugs.. Maybe even Eddie amongst that gang since he showed up in the episode 4 title slide. But oh well.. I mean perhaps Robert Kirkman and Frank Darabont need to take over as lead authors for the game series until the end.lol
Well, Eddie killed Nate's friend, so I doubt that would happen.
Russell or Vince
That's the thing.. could give way for an interesting back story of how they joined sides. Since no one knew what became of Eddie after he separated from Wyatt. Maybe even a nice big DLC for all these missing and unknown characters they have a habit of signing off with.. called " Telltale's The Walking Dead "Loose Ends" haha an episode for each missing and forgotten character they sort of lazily threw away in the trash..well for now atleast because don't know what season 3 holds, but doubt they go back track to explain the fate of these characters.
However Don't get me wrong Michonne is kind of cool.. but they ought to focus on their own original series and not take the simpler way out. Though I know it is tougher coming up with a story from scratch than building on top of something someone else already established. Really felt more like a job for Kirkman and skybound to do in comic form though the game is still fun so not that bad and I guess Kirkman gave them the green-light for it since it is his character.
I was really excited to see how the 400 Days characters fit into season two and was also disappointed that they were almost invisible.
I didnt think he was a wimp, just a nice kid trapped with an insane man.
either more of Bonnie or Shel or more of both I wasnt to crazy about the others
Wyatts.
I thought it was funny and had a good storyline. What happened before hand when they got into trouble. Nate chasing them, what happens to Eddie. All points that could've lead to a longer episode.
Plus, I know this get's left out a lot, but the scenery and graphics of the fog and the road is beautiful.
Either Rusell and Nate or Shel's. I loved both of those stories.
I agree with what you're saying. When Telltale's games have used an already established character like Michonne or Bigby from TWAU, I've always felt a sort of obligation (silly, I know), to play the way "they" would, not how I would. Both their personalities are radically different from mine, so that's always been a stretching point for me.
I enjoyed TWAU and am enjoying Michonne's story, but that itch is still there.
Wyatt and Eddie's, they were pretty funny, for a change and Nate had them chasing which sounds... mysterious.
Also conversing with Nate would be interesting, if you leave out the rating dead girls talk...
People forget so easily that this kid saw what his nut of a group leader was doing, said "screw you guys, I'm going home", and decided he'd rather trek over 50 miles across a zombie-infested wasteland on foot all by himself so that he could find his family. A wimp Russell is not. He's got convictions and doesn't kowtow to crazy people.
Well, you know... until we see him at Howe's and he's pretty much kowtowing to Carver. Goddamn it, Season 2.
Yeh, your right i kinda forgot about that fact, good for pointing it out.
Id rather just have a Nate story so I can find out where he's from and what happened to him after he failed to bring all the people with him.
Shel. Shel shel shel.
That would be cool aswell, just think about all the hilarious dialouge options, we would have xd.
Okay, okay... geez, Chel out.
Vince and Russel
Wyatt, Russell or Vince. Preferably Vince.
