Or... it was made with the intent of making money? As every other game in the world. And what's your problem with people enjoying it more than TWD? They're happy with their game and you're happy with yours.
I really never understood the hype of this. It just created so people can just ignore games more awesome than this crap. Some even consider it better than TWD, I DO NOT accept that.
I forget, did they say they were bringing back the new fighting mechanics from Minecraft Story Mode for Michonne? I didn't notice anything in there but hearts and switching targets, and I didn't see that here, come to think of it.
I can already see this thread going downhill, generally a thread made around taking the piss out of a game doesn't go well. Oh but who am I to say anything.
"nitpicky" is kind of the point of the "Everything Wrong With..." series on youtube. It was probably what this thread was for, because that 's what's going on in the Minecraft one, but here it's mostly complaints about the game. It's okay if they point out the silliest things, as that is what they're kinda supposed to do.
While some of these are legit sins you are also nitpicking on some.
A legit one is the loading times and lag issues. Also the walkers wal… moreking under water. At this point it can't be a regular virus the way they defy physics.
The black bars are probably to make it more cinematic but regardless that's just nit picky.
Also Paige asking about Sam being dead or not may seem stupid but it'd be a pretty smart strategy for Randall and friends. Matter of fact maybe someone did that to Paige. But it's not a huge sin so that's also nit picky.
The John and walker arm thing was pretty stupid. Maybe it's to call back to when Sam said he was really smart, just for him to be completely careless. I think they could've killed him off in a more realistic way but it's probably just the call back that motivated the move. I'll give you the sin.
The Norma lieing text. That's the most nit picky thing I've ever seen. Can companies besides gear box have fun with their text?
Okay, but I'm sure that @AronDracula thinks those things are "wrong" with the game but could still enjoy it. I sometimes think about silly, nonsensical things in games or movies, but I still enjoy them. Some stuff in TFTB were weird, but I'm okay with that. Some stuff Aron said I agree with, but that doesn't make me a bad person. I love the new Michonne series (and don't want it to end yet...)
I said in a comment above here somewhere, that there is a "Everything wrong with..." in the Minecraft section, and they are all focusing on the nitpicky story part or game mechanics, which is what the series on youtube is about, so, the same thing could/should happen here. This isn't meant to be a thread of complaints of the game, it's supposed to be a fun discussion where people can say some of those statements "out of nowhere" as a joke, even if it isn't their true feelings about it. (Although, not a place to only do that just because you hate the game.) Hope this helped, and maybe cleared things up? (I tend to ramble on sometimes...)

Sinning games is nitpicking. Nitpicking is not doing the ones that obviously make no sense, they are the ones that could even slightly not make sense. So don't go saying "You're just nitpicking here!" Because... That's the point. Ding!
Okay, everything makes more sense now. Seeing things in a humorous light definitely could've helped me understand the purpose of the thread. I apologize for the misunderstanding, @AronDracula!
I always chuckle when I see in the menu that @AChicken posted the latest comment.

Long loading screens are way too long
I agree. They should improve that in the future.
The black bars who appear during fights… more (This is not a movie, it's based on the comics)
Should it be black and white too, then? I personally don't have a problem with the black bars. I feel like they're there to remind people when they have to do something so that jumpscares are more effective, e.g. John's death.
Short episodes are way too short (I understand it's a mini-series, only 3 episodes but that doens't mean the episodes should be short as well)
I feel like the pacing has been effective, but I understand why some could dislike the shorter episodes. We are paying the same for a less content, thought I'd rather pay $4.99 for 'What We Deserve' than for 'No Going Back,' even though the latter is twice as much content.

That, and also the audio cut-outs are way too frequent and destroy any sense of immersion and completely ruined ep. 2 for me.
That said, I probably will end up playing ep. 3 anyway since I've already come this far.
My biggest beef would have to be the lack of interaction with characters. Season 1 you could chat whenever there was a slow moment. Season 2 you couldn't but you still kinda got attached to people, but nobody cried when say Carlos died because you didn't have much interaction with him. Now it's even worse; Sam's sobbing over Greg's corpse and you're standing there like "...eh." Hell, you have one conversation with John. ONE! I was more attached to Sam The Murder Dog than him!
I didn't really mind the first one, but I felt like the one Worded Like This took out of the scene. Some people write like that in the YouTube comment sections.
I found those cringe-worthy, to be honest.

The only thing that stops me buying the Michonne series myself is the entire length, and how it conflicts with the pacing of the narrative, the characters not being interesting enough during their short appearance for me to be invested in the story, and the story itself being a rehash to older plot elements found in Season 1 and 2.
At this point, we're nearly done with the mini-series as we approach the finale, and I feel as if we've only just got into the meat of the story. Knowing that we're most likely only going to get another hour of wrapping up the entire conflict between Michonne, Pete, and the two groups fighting each other, there's a chance that the story will end in an anti-climatic fashion that accomplishes very little and doesn't do enough to add more character to Comic!Michonne.
Put simply, the mini-series takes the 'mini' far too literally.

I don't know who Max Caufield is.
All I can say is: don't play Life is Strange. It's one of the worst games ever made in 2015.
… more Paige is, too. What is the problem with this?
Greg doesn't aim for the head to a close walker. Bad move. Randall, who is such a great fighter, doesn't hit Michonne at all when she climbs the fallen tower.
About Sam and the shortwave, I think she did it to attract people and convince them that Norma and Co. are bad people, which she determinantly did. It hasn't been explained, but that doesn't make it a mistake.
Who cares about people who are going to a bad situation? She was supposed to be with her family who were living in a safe shelter. She did have enough supplies for them.
That would be because Telltale thinks people liked Season 1 under the lense of an interactive TV show and not a role playing game, which is why all games after have less hubs/etc.
If you want my advice, I think it's worth buying. Season 2 episodes had 1 hour and a half to 2 hours and people bitch a lot about their quality in retrospect the Michonne's 2nd episode had 1 hour and I haven't seen many people bitching about it, keep that in mind.
Whoa, that is short! I cant justify paying that much for a three odd hour game, maybe when its on sale I'll take the plunge. Thanks for the quick reply
Edit; I just wanted to to point out to the life is strange bashers one episode of lis is equal to this whole mini series in regards of length plus the waiting time in between episodes was shorter and the games cost about the same price

Haven't played Minecraft: Story Mode—and I won't ever—so I really don't know, but isn't sword-fighting the same as fist-fighting and knife-fighting, in terms of gameplay?
Definitely not horrible but it's definitely overrated, and it definitely did not deserve any awards. And I definitely said definitely too much. Definitely.

I don't see how it's a beyond two souls spin-off at all. Beyond two souls was a great game in my eyes, even with David Cages quirks. Also Life is Strange = Time Travel, Beyond Two Souls = Story about a paranormal entity connected to a girl. Completely different subjects.
