TWD Michonne Ending - More choices?

Am I the only one who felt short of the choices for the ending?
I choose to leave Michonnes daughter behind but I didn't want to stick with the crew and was hoping for a choice when you see your daughters in the forest to abandon the crew and venture alone. Or is there and I completely missed it!? XD

    No, you end up with the group no matter and I heard that this is what is supposed to happen for the sake of the comics.

    I wish there had been more choice surrounding the remaining group members and also why would Michonne want to leave her group?

    I'm disappointed that there was no way to save Norma. I expected Paige to probably be determinant, but I'm glad she's alive.

    I wish we could let Sam etc come with us instead of saying "oh i'll drop you off here you'll be fine" I do hope she and James/Alex/Paige pop up again in Season 3! Would love that!
