Would it be better if.....?

Letting Zachary die (or not) mattered a lot? Not only to save Zachary but to save Berto as well. Jonas killing Berto was better written than Gabby killing him herself. Because he had such a good reason to do that but Gabby didn't because Telltale just had to make her act like a bitch for Berto to die no matter what. This is how the choices matter.

Saving Zach is slightly better. If you wanna kill a bitch instead of a nice dude, save Zach. If you're mean and wanna kill two nice dudes, kill Zach. And plus, Zach sacrifices his own life for you :P

  • No, I meant that Berto's fate should have depended on Saving Zachary or Not.

  • Oh, but I'm fine with how it was.

  • Nah I think it was fine, I killed Zac on my canon run because I feel that version makes more sense.

I would have preferred Zac to just live rather than die to norma, it felt kind of pointless for him to die there. He could have died but in a different way to being shot

  • Telltale did what they did in season two. Have a character in a big game decision, then have them go missing for an entire episode almost, then kill them off like a walker, as if to say "your decision didn't matter, because we're going to kill them off cheaply and with no way the player can save them, because we can't be bothered to put more effort into it."
I'm referring to Zachary, nick, Sarah Ben etc.

I wouldn't consider Ben to be part of that list

Saving him actually had him have lines, had him interact with other characters, and gave him a death that actually had some meaning behind it

Ben is nowhere near Nick or Sarah

  • There's Chet in season one, but I think he's the only character that counts.

  • I did mention season 1 and michonne.

  • Ben after he was saved from episode 4 tried to become more realibe and mature, he even stands up to Kenny. But. With so little time in the game and with the plot around lee being bit and saving clementine, his quick maturity and even retrieving he gun lee drops going into the attic, was all for nothing.
