Meeting Herschel

I don't understand when you meet Herschel in the farm and tell him you had a way out of the city because you were being driven by a cop, he still calls you a liar. At the end of the episode it said I was honest with him.

  • That's just a mistake that can happen sometimes. If it says that you were honest with him at the end, then the game accidently played a wrong file.

Well, technically he did still lie, Lee said the cop gave him a lift out of town because he was a nice guy, the cop didn't give him a lift because he was a nice guy but because he was a convicted criminal. :P

  • i was wondering too, guess it still is the same, despite your decisions.

  • You're right. Telling half the truth is still half lying, I guess.

  • There was no need to revive this thread

  • There wasn't much he could do in the situation. They needed a place to stay, and lee knew that if he told hershel he was a convicted murderer, he wouldn't let them stay.

  • That was a mistake by telltale. Hershel will not call you out for lying if you tell him that you got a ride when you talk to him in the barn.

  • He probably says like "you better become a better liar" more as an advice, as if you keep telling people that you were going to jail they wouldn't trust you, so you would have to know how to lie well to them.
