Requests for telltale in GoT season 2
Just requests for telltale to add to season two of GoT or things to avoid
- Telltale, try to avoid the pointless choices
- Try to Focus more on the strategy part of Game of Thrones
- Try to add a snowball effect, what i mean is multiple choices lead to a certain charater dying instead of one choice leads to character death
Just saying, hate me all you want for having an idea

That's your own fault, not theirs. This type of choices actually makes you more careful about the choices you make instead of randomly clicking like an idiot. These choices should be more frequent, as it makes them actually matter.
I have a request: Please don't abandon Tom/Mira completely.
Edit: I I would love it if the player was able to put in the season 1 choices before starting season 2 in case something had happened to the original season 1 save. That way it would also be easier to see the consequences of the choices the player didn't originally make without having to replay season 1.
Yup, I think those are very refreshing. Like the one in Whitehills' castle (can't remember the name) where you try to kill them and end up dead and game over. It's a natural option to have in a situation like that, but it also shouldn't be an option that you survive.
Telltale staff sometimes visit the fourms so this is a good idea:
Highpoint.
Like some have stated before on this forum, playing as Torrhen or anybody associated with the Whitehill family has a lot of potential to be really, really cool.
A request I haven't seen is to please, please do not reuse character models so much if the character has already been established. I'm mostly talking about these guys:
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in Episode 6 you kill these guys at least once and the same models appear in later fight scenes.
Perhaps at the very beginning you could see Ramsay reporting to his father, and (if you chose to not import your save) you get to choose the dialogue options (important choices you made) ? Kinda like the way it worked in the Witcher 3.
That's pretty much it LOL.
Agreed, definitely want a win/lose ouctome for season 2
1) Give us info. That's my main request...
2) To be honest I would have liked if Telltale passed this year with GoT and started writing scenario after all season 6 episodes are aired. But they could make 2-3 episodes miniseries. In this series "splits" could be solved and it would set the stage for season 2 occurring 2 years after GoT season 1. Thus Talia could be an adult woman in Seas. 2. She could become a swordsman(woman whatever) too and leading resistance against Whitehills. Ryon would be older. Gared would be more badass for spending 2 years behind The Wall... etc.
3) Less guest stars from the TV. - I mean we all know we won't kill Ramsay...
4) Perhaps some new game feature. No offense but Telltale games are all the same. You could for example put more strategy in the game - I mean no maps and unit constructions... Everything dialogue based. Companion asks you what to do: a) Train units? - You gain +1 in army strength b) Infiltrate Ironrath? +1 Espionage etc. etc. Perhaps player could gain these points not only by choices but through puzzles, complete location exploring or simple trading... And at the different parts of game these points would have earned you an extra option to choose. No need to attack fort if I assassinate Gryf! Or not... It could backfire like hell. It could lead to Win/Lose end game situations as someone suggested above me. Just no Mass Effect 3 war assets and 3 colored endings. That was stupid....
I like your idea for strategic options and training units. But i do have somthing to add, maybe telltale could make almost like mass effect insted of pick a option and this charater dies for some choices. Make it like this, your soliders are not well equiped and you don't have the respect or loyalty of Royland/ Duncan they will die. My point is try adding almost like a snowball effect, instead this choice kills this character make it like these series of choices kills this character or this previous action unlocks hiden dialogue. Ok, now im rambaling, i'll shut up
Sorry for spelling errors, iPhone + big fingers= bad spelling
Yeah I agree... My reference to ME was meant to point out that those war assets were completely useless in the end...
That would be unfair for the people who played Season 1. And it would make playing Season 1 kinda pointless in my opinion.
It's unfair if you're just there to know the choices, but you're missing the experience. Also you can continue from your season 1 save. You don't have to tell the game if you have already played season 1.
Ew no thanks
Try and chirp it up a little bit. The misery went overboard at times. Also game of throne IS NOT the good guys always loose, its a series about strategy. If the house looses at least make it logical rather than each side getting a sudden advantage for little to no reason.
Reduce show characters appearances or at least keep them logical.
Thanks for your feedback.
I want to see more of House Tarwick, I'm hoping they can be a stand in for House Yarwyck. It would be interesting to see a somewhat honorable House that serves the Lannisters.
Not Really. It could Become Trail & Error. There was a Situation in Life is Strange, were you got a Game over Screen, Because you chose wrong. In the end, there was only one "Right" Way to pass that scene. And those "Fake Choices" don't make the Choices matter. They just limit the amount of possible outcomes of a scene. It would also go against the philosophy of Telltale, by forcing a player onto a decision, they don't want to make. "The Story is tailored by how YOU play"
Don't kill Asher/Rodrik
Why would Tom help the Forrester?
He only helped Mira because she was nice to him, not because of her family.
Beshka is probably lesbian, and Asher loves Gwyn ♥
Ew No thanks, in fact more ew than him and beshka
Don't kill Asher/Rodrik
Let us play as either Tom or Mira depending on who died. Make both POV'S way different. Mira will be Morgryn's prisoner in Ironrath, Tom will spend a night drinking and vow to avenge Mira lol.
Make the march south or stay in the grove choice make a huge difference as well.
Make Duncan/Royland behave differently with different dialogue options depending on of they are the sentinel or the traitor.
Let Asher beat up traitor Duncan.
Let us ship Beskha x Asher but not in a mushy romantic way.
If I think of more I'll post them.
I really dont want to play as Tom, i'd rather play as neither. I would like determinant mira scenes
Why no Tom? He could have some badass actions scenes and if I had my way he'd be in the countryside and not Kings Landing.
Maybe Galbart Glover, lord of house Glover will be reaper in the game because he got an unknown state in tv's and book's serie.
¿another character with unknown state so Telltale can use it?
You know how at the end of Episode 6 they showed us in what way we fought to save House Forrester? Either with diplomacy, or force, or whateve else we could try? Include that again, but make each choice count in either helping House Forrester, or doing it a disservice. Now, we won't know what will work and what won't while we are playing, of course. I think that would greatly help feel like you are actually responsible for the outcome at the end of Season 2.
NOT.
Really needed an additional comment huh?
Yes. Yes, I did.
there will be no more seasons j job sutter told me over lunch
Please don't just tie up all the consequences of choices in ep06 before intro begins to play. I, for example, want to see what have my choice to kill Ludd done to Whitehills, how can Tuttle&co cross the wall with black-magic zombies without affecting canon, etc.
