No tough choices?!
In all of 3 episodes there were no tough choices but probably 2
1- Kill Zachary or not
2- Kill Randall or not
AND BOTH DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A HUGE IMPACT. Y U DO DIS TELLTALE ._______.
The whole point of these games were choices....tough choices but there aren't any.

"There were no tough choices but let me give you an example of two tough choices"
In comparison of 15 total choices in the game, only 2 somewhat tough choices that have no absolute impact later on in the story are not "choices"
Also calling them "examples" implies there are more which there wasn't.
I guess they missed the point then.
No offense, but your logic is pretty dumb.
@Firewallcano:"There were no tough choices but let me give you an example of two tough choices"
If you don't think there are tough choices, @LilClemmyClue, then why'd you give 2 examples of 2 hard choices?
"No offense then says something offensive" Irony much? How about you double check what you say before start lecturing me? People these days
Me?
I didn't say you were dumb.
Nah, Telltale.
but her logic is a part of her </3
Okay, let's say those were 2 examples. Still, it's only 2 of them, but that's more or less pretty subjective. For me there were no tough choices and the whole game was pretty meh.
I am sorry that I thought you were talking to me when you didn't clarify who is "your" -_-
No, I'm sorry you thought I said you were dumb. Won't happen again.
Should we just forget whatever happened?
THANK YOU! Also #MaxGotSweg
Yeah, let's restart.
Thats cool, for me Life is strange was pretty meh
Was there any need to bring Life is Strange into this
like, at all
They were talking about max so I thought id compare it to that, no choice game has really had full choice payoff so far
Remember those times when we had tough choices like:
Now these were tough choices.
You had difficulty with that choice? Immediately clicked save
If I'm being honest I had. I did click save sarah immidiately at the first prompt but at the second one [Slap Sarah] / [Escape] choice, screen was turning red...walkers almost broke through the door...and I started to fear for my life, the same fear I felt when I had Ben in my hand (walkers almost on top of me). Besides Jane's constant bugging "NOW CLEMENTINE!" got the best of me.
So in those couple of seconds I was fighting 'my life vs someone else's life'. That made the choice tough for me.
I only said Max is cool because of the profile picture....
Yup, that's alright, but @LilClemmyClue states that there were no tough choices, and then proceeds to name two choices that they considered tough.
I believe people are missing @Firewallcano's point.
No when I said there were NO TOUGH CHOICES I didn't mean it LITERALLY, I was just saying there is only 2 somewhat hard choices among 15 choices in-game that absolutely have no impact. They are not tough choices in my book. If anyone is missing the point it is you.
Ok Firewallcano that's cool
Still better than The Walking Dead: Michonne IMO.
Actually, I kinda agree. There weren't many tough choices that made me pause the game for a while... And I was expecting the last choice in the entire series to be hard to choose. Instead, it is way too easy IMO. I mean, WHO STAYS WITH SOME HALLUCINATIONS IN A BURNING HOUSE?!
And as for the two choices you mentioned... yeah. That was some wasted potential, if you ask me.
Appearantly 15 people are missing the point of this thread.
Wait why would I save Sarah? In reality, why would I actually save Sarah?
If I was in Clem's shoes, and I'm not sure if I can just slap her and get her to move, but I'm sure I can walk outta there with Jane and (guy who died in the ice water) then why would I waste my time?
Choices aren't tough in telltale games. They are just switches to set the game on different paths.
No offense, but this isn't like a Bethesda type game (new Vegas not fallout 4) where there are several storylines and ways to finish the game. There's just one way, but different roads to get there
"No tough choices" Tell that to The Walking Dead season 1 and 2
Thanks for using the spoiler marker.
It'd help then if the title of the thread wasn't an ironic exaggeration that misleads people. It really blurs the point that you are trying to make across.
It literally talks about Tough Choices WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? It takes an 8 year old to realize it will include spoilers. What the heck?
Also, by the way the sarcasm wasn't needed.
No it doesn't, you just can't read what I am actually trying to imply which isn't my fault.
There, happy now?
You said that there weren't tough choices—and I agree with that for the most part—and then you mention two decisions that you considered tough—and I did, too. All I am saying is that it backfires, because it subconsciously prompts you to think that there were more hard choices than people realize, and that isn't really the point of your thread, is it.
I actually do understand what you are saying. I'd just recommend you not to expect everyone to get what your implications mean, and instead, explain it.
Edit: I would really appreciate it if you took thirty seconds to read my comment instead of ignoring it, thank you. Happens a lot around here.
I had no way of discovering from which game it was or if it was from the TV show or the comics, I just expected a 'Tought choices' tread, nothing else.
Yes, thank you.
No touch choices? I beg to differ -- even if choices don't (always) have a large effect on the plot, I always find many of them tough regardless.
