So when in the comics do the games take place?
I was just curious if anyone has done the math and matched up the timeline between the comics and the games.
The majority of Season 1 takes place 3-4 months in, so I'm thinking that's probably right around the time Rick's group found the prison. Season 2 takes place 19-20 months in, so that would be about the same time that Rick's group found Alexandria, right?

Actually season 2 is about 27 months in. The 3 months skip to Starved for Help plus the 8 month skip to the intro to All That Remains given Christa's baby bump, plus the 16 month skip after that opening.
Oh yeah, good point. I guess that would put Season 2 after the "All Out War" story arc.
Yeah, the majority of Season 2 is actually during a major time skip in the comics. Michonne also takes place during this time.
They reach Alexandria on day 408, 8 days after the epilogue of 400 Days. The timeskip is after day 623 and before day 1400.
Cool. My timeline was way off. That would put Season 2 between issue #126 and #127.

101: Before Rick wakes up
Rest of Season 1: While Rick & Co are in the Atlanta camp (remember that they were there until Christmas, Season 1 ends about a week after Halloween)
First scene of Season 2: While Rick is in the prison
Rest of Season 2: Shortly after All Out War
Michonne mini series: After All Out War, about a month after Michonne meets Pete, but it's unknown how long she was alone before then, or if they actually set sail on Alexandria right after Episode 3
