I think, Michonne wouldn't have survived the scene, in the burning house if that would have been the case.
Since Samantha, stayed and tried to get Michonne, out of her hallicunation. I don't see Greg doing the same.
Also the escape, from Monroe could have gone allot different since Sam knocked out Norma. I Also don't see Greg doing that.
But it is interesting to think about

But i would rather have had that, telltale just kept them both alive since Greg seemed like a cool character to me.
Which they could have created a interesting story-line for if they kept him alive.
I'd be happy, cuz then, Monroe would never have been burnt down, and a lot of death and destruction could have been prevented.
I don't see how Michonne still using the flare gun and accidently lighting some flammable area is going to change with Greg there instead of Sam.
I don't either, but I do know this: Norma shouldn't have let her go the first time.
Greg should not be killed and Sam should be shot and if Greg alive michonne and Greg should be friends

Greg deserved more character development, but I have to admit that being Sam the one who kept living made the story more interesting
If she died in Ep1 we would still think that she was a "horrible" (this is how some people call her for some reasons...) and evil character, but instead of that, we get to see her reasons and motivations (save her family) and we care more about her (not everyone likes her even after Ep3, so this is kinda subjective and my opinion)
I don't think how the story would turn out if Greg would still alive, but probably he wouldn't be that brave
It would have been very similar likely. Though it doesnt really matter as it didnt happen
Determinantly friends if Michonne shared blame?
