Ok, still here, good. Hodor gets mauled by Wights while he is holding the door shut for Bran so wights can't go after them. But sadly dies. Let's pay our respects to Hodor.

Ugh... Forgive my anger but please specify whether you're spoiling the tv series or the game because if you don't I'm going to assume you're making a discussion about the game which leads to my favourite show being spoiled for me. This is incredibly irritating.

Ugh, I was planning to watch the fifth episode of the sixth season, but now, I guess I don't need to watch it at all since the ending for me is spoiled.

It was a pretty sad death, Poor hodor, and summer and Blood raven and tree people.
Yeah that was sad, but lets not forget Summer. Poor thing
Summer was literally just as sad. Just cause we can't have a flashback for her arc, doesn't mean I didn't pause and ball my eyes out.

Hodor is a Paradox.
Hodor was born before Bran, so the universe created Bran to use warg to go back and warg Hodor, if Hodor wasnt warged then Bran wouldnt escape, but if Hodor wasnt Hodor but instead Willis he would have never been with Bran in the first place, but then if Bran was killed by Jaime back when he pushed him off then Hodor would cease to be Hodor.
But Hodor was Hodor while Bran was a kid, so all while Hodor was Hodor, Bran was going to live.
But if the Nights King didn't touch Bran then Hodor wouldnt have had to hold the door so he wouldnt be Hodor. So the Nights King had to touch Bran otherwise Hodor wouldnt be Hodor and they wouldnt even be there in the first place for Hodor to carry Bran.

To me it kinda feels like that means it was predetermined. There are a lot of prophecies going around, such as a price that is promised, so I think there's some element of a destined timeline that red priestesses can see and that Bran can loosely manipulate, though that in itself may be predetermined.
Or I guess we'll just go with "the Lord of Light commands it so".
