There's an interview with Dave Erickson out, and there's some stuff about the next half of the season. I'm kind of confused about the things mentioned, but a good read.
I think it'd be ridiculous if Daniel survived that situation.
Why do we need Daniel anyway? This might give Ophelia some development fina… morelly, his arc came to a satisfying end, not to mention the fact that a main cast member hasn't died since season 1 until now..
yeah he was cool. But if you think about it he ended on his terms, in a way he wanted to go out. So if you really loved him then you'd kind of let him go? As staying alive would likely just cause more pain for him.
I don't like how he is not subtly at all implying, and putting in our faces, that Daniel could be alive. I mean, he said that his story isn't over, that we didn't actually see him die, and even that there are potentially four branches of the group—Maddie, Alicia, Ofelia & Strand; Travis & Chris; Nick. And… guess who's left… Daniel, once again! I doubt he was talking about Sofia and the other butlers.

A terrible episode in my opinion, it was just so rushed and all over the place, while still somehow being painfully slow. In two episodes the characters have all been turned on their heads.
They destroyed the safe haven in about 10 minutes through one fire in the zombie area. Also no named character died onscreen so I guess we are supposed to assume they all lived.
How did Chris hold that kid hostage he looks like a wet blanket, why did the dad pretend to not know english if he only had to get travis away
How did the whole place suddenly burn down
What happened to everyone else?
Why is ofelia just accepting she cant she her father?
How is Nick getting so gutted up if he isnt killing any walkers?
What exactly was madison trying to do? If she wanted to kill the leader why not make sure she was dead?
I really dont like that I want pretty much every character to die in this show, some have on paper potential but are all boring, annoying or idiotic (or all three).
Madison, Ofelia, Travis and Alicia range from dull to stupid depending on the episode. Travis and Alicia have some potential to be good characters, but to be honest they are pretty boring
Nick is funny but now hes gone all weird and suddenly wanting to save zombies
Daniel and his visions/flashbacks came on way to quickly. His character feels back an forth and rushed. Strand also, im not sure why hes gone from so horrible to suddenly helping out.
Chris could be interesting if he wasnt so damn unlikeable in every sense
Even the "villein" I just wanted to be eaten by her zombie pets.
Celia Flores: If your child was hungry, would you not feed him? If your child couldn't speak, would you not speak for him anyway? Even if your child could not love… would you not love him anyway?
Madison Clark: I would.
Celia: What wouldn't you do for your children?
Madison: Nothing.
I am pretty convinced that this is foreshadowing for Maddie's future relationship with his son, Nick. Obviously not in the sense that he is a walker, but in the sense that he has embraced living among the undead, and that he prefers them rather than his biological and adoptive family, plus Ofelia, who he was hinted at being romantically interested in, and Strand, who he was hinted at being friends with. I don't know how to describe it really, but I really believe it.
I confess that i only watch this show for one reason...Alicia! Beautiful girl! But seriously i also watch because it's something worth watching after a long day at work haha

Hey and both people who burned the compounds to ashes suffered from hallucinations and post-traumatic stress disorder!
TBF we never saw him die and wasn't in the memorial on TDjust like Glenn
Don't make me let him go. I let too much go yesterday. Too many people.
Hold the door
