Stephanie Is From The Nursing Home
You might be wondering what the hell this is, but I promise, all of it will make sense by the end of the post. I believe there is a chance that Stephanie, the radio survivor talking to Eugene, is actually be settled in the nursing home that Magna mentioned. Scan though the following panels first.
When Magna was interviewed by Andrea, she revealed that she and her group used to be part of "Slade County Retirement Home," a nursing home halfway though from Richmond to DC. It was described at being technologically advanced, to the point where they had greenhouses and "nice fences," but at some point, it became overcrowded, prompting Magna and some others to leave the place. It was implied that her group and the people on the community had some friction, as Magna said that "things started getting bad."
When Eugene talks to Stephanie, she tells that she has more than fifty people on her group, posing it as an advantage. She says that they try not to judge people for what they have had to do to survive, though she does remark that there are people "who have travelled quite a ways," and that she finds those people "at least somewhat damaged." The woman on the radio also says that this Whisperer group leads her to having so many assumptions as to who they might be, and then breaks it off by saying "as people." In my eyes, this suggests that she thinks she knows some of the Whisperers, and they would inevitably have to be survivors who left her settlement.
Closing up, Stephanie does say that she has been there since the beginning, and a place like the nursing home that Magna described would have to be there for a long while.
I think that the woman in the radio might be talking about Magna's little crew all along. What do you think?

I think this'll be a new location. Maybe something similar to a hilltop size community but with less people
I dont think this storyline will be touched upon until whisperer was is over. I reckon issue 170 ish maybe this will start to play out properly
That's what I was thinking. Magna's crew and the radio survivor aren't clear as to where they'll go story-wise. A twist like this could boost both lose ends.
I'll be more interesting to see that magna group are part of a community to send out agents to get info and take over communities in a coherent power way.
