I don't understand all the meme posting and confusion in this thread. Symbolism is a part of many stories, no? I don't find it that hard to believe that her shirt colors could have some kind of symbolism towards something.
This is an interesting theory! I tend to look for that kind of symbolism in games, tv, film etc, yet I never really thought about that particular aspect for Sam. Thanks for pointing this out!.
I actually did notice this. Granted, she has a good reason to change wardrobe unlike any of the other characters (she's at her house with he… morer own clothes, and her red one was ruined after getting shot). But since she is a character that arguably goes through the most change in character, I don't think it's as much as a coincidence as people think it is that she's the one that goes through the most wardrobe changes. Red could reflect an angrier, selfish Sam. After getting shot, she changes into a blue/green shirt that could reflect a cooler temper, mourning, and her selflessness when saving Michonne.
Yeah yeah I know "this is as ridiculous as the name meaning threads" which I also defended. But when you're writing and designing this stuff, the symbolism behind minute details really does come into play. The same thing happens to Clementine in season 1. She starts out in a white dress to symbolize her innocence. Then you can give her a red ja… [view original content]

Actually you'd be surprised how much writers look into these things. This would have been stupid had she not been the only character through… moreout the episodes who changes their clothing. Considering she's the only one it is probably intended. So yeah don't hate on it. Especially since name meanings are another thing given a lot of consideration by writers. Writers love nothing more than adding fun little details to their work.

flog, i am sorry to hear that i offended you. i know for a fact lee is dead but i believe he is a force ghost now, like obi wan, Patrick Ewing and Charles Barkley. anyway i know there are a lot of crazy theories out there but that is a measurement of how passionate the fans are about these things. if no one cared or liked the game no one would say anything about it. so thats you, you do you and ill do me.
Yeah I don't really get the animosity towards these types of theories. They're not like conspiracy theories that are trying so hard to reach for something to prove a point (see: "Lee is Alive"). These are just cool things people point out that might involve a hidden meaning creators could have snuck in to reinforce a theme, not for seeking wish-fulfillment. I think they're topics for good discussion and as someone who does a lot of research to use hidden symbolism in my own writing I'm a little sad everyone is taking this as a joke.

To be honest, I was staring at her boobs and didn't care about shirt much. But Sam's breasts seemed larger in first episode. You know, this can be a gauge of moral compass. When girl is bitchy, selfish and lies - her tits grow bigger.

i mean they probably were it just wasnt their own blood. they killed numerous zombies which probably smelled much worse.
i know that some people didnt have clothes of their own sure but my point wasnt as much as why didnt they change the close as more of they didnt have any other character models programmed into the game.

Because if you want to see symbolism, you always will.
What's wrong with theorizing about it though? Isn't that what this entire forum is built off of anyway? lol
These are the people on our team.
None shall insult us!

Sam's shirts intentionally holding certain color symbolism, debunked.
Hey blind sniper would show me sam character model with different colored shirts
Hey blind sniper post the sam character model with colored shirts like purple and red for me
9th
Yeah there are often small details added by the writers, however a lot of stuff certainly isnt and is just coincidence which gets overanaylsed
Why specifically Blind? He's not a butler.
what
She had to change her clothes, keeping on a bloody shirt would have made no sense in her house.
I just find it frustrating in the same way it's frustrating when people come up with theories as to why Lee isn't dead.
danker than my memes
i cant believe how butt hurt this made you all! i laugh everytime i check these comments!
so how come no one else changed their clothes several times?
why didnt anyone else change clothes?

Were their clothes bloody? No, they weren't.

Well, she was shot in her left breast, you know. I believe that that could've caused it to lose volume, and in turn… the…
…How come you didn't notice that, Omid's Cat!
You didn't offend me haha, I wasn't saying you have no right to discuss this either, but I have the right to say it's bullshit :P
i agree on both counts. i appreciate your criticism
