What do you see in the teaser picture?
I see a white house but nothing more, maybe you guys can see more in it.

The bit on the left looks like the gate to the yard at Carvers
I didn't really see anything extraordinary in the background, but I did see this:
Pretty sure it's a head, eye and ear and all.
I noticed that too. I was trying to discern if it was a walker or a comic character.
Interesting, I payed no attention to that at all.
I did some enhancements to make it brighter
It looks like a boarded up window or door on the left and a roof of a car or dumper? On the right it looks like a back of a van, a bush or tree and above it could be the railings of a American fire escape?
There also seems to be overhead cables.
no
You read the comics? I didn't know that.
I am curious to what the "connections" between this and the comics are going to be. I have a few ideas, but can't be sure.
For some reason with the weird lines, I can't tell where this hair ends.
Looks like it has been overgrown on the right.
I can already notice that the quality is much higher then season's 2. A new engine? o:
Thanks
There's barbed wire on the left it seems.
I can't see the fire escape you're talking about though.
It looks like a countryside city
no
problem
I think it's an unknown location, looks more like a town (and I know there's been a desire for more urban environments such as cities and towns in The Walking Dead - especially since time has passed, more has decayed and we get to potentially see more walkers/dangerous situations), perhaps near some docks?
Looking at the sky and general lighting, it seems to be sunset, (not dawn, if you look at the sky, that is not what a sky generally looks like at dawn, things look like they're evidently getting darker), so things are darkening. No characters, silhouettes, or even models are available so it seems like there's a lack of walkers, as well as that, though it's blurry, none of the buildings (like the one on the left), look particularly decayed. It could potentially mean that this is some type of settlement or area where survivors are around. Though, about the walker thing, Telltale are adamantly known for removing player models in teasers/trailers to hide certain things about the plot.
An example would be how Kenny doesn't have his bandage at the end of the 'In Harm's Way' trailer, and how Luke is also absent in the 'Amid The Ruins' accolades trailer. So, Telltale are known for modifying/removing models in teaser images and trailers. That's not to rule out the possibility of no walkers, but there is something else. Though it's hard to say, it does look like there exists one walker right at the bottom (though it could be a person also).
Once again, hard to say but I think this is some type of town/city.
If it's the white house then I'll probably make a cameo
If it was the White House this game would definitely have some big comic tie-ins.
But I doubt it.
On the top right the bottom of the metal structure looks similar to this.
Thread: I sharpened the teaser image and this is what I saw
It looks a bit clearer, but what do you guys think?
Well, no - I meant if someone else would recognize it as a comic character.
Didn't you hear back in March? Telltale confirmed they are using a "very upgraded" engine for all titles starting with Batman.
However, so far from that one obscured screen, I think the art style looks pretty close to Season 2/Michonne and I'm usually good at picking out subtle improvements in art style. As I said, it's just a background shot covered by a logo so I don't think I can say much, but what new stuff should I be looking for in this screen?
It's a town. Probably Wellington. Defo looks like a street.
Looks like an alley in some random city to me.
I don't think its wellington, because I dont see any snow around.
Also I see part of someone's face,in the letters kinda reminds me off Sam's hairstyle.
But thats probably because, I had the theorie that she would be the protagonist in S3
And think this would, have been really cool
But tbh I have no idea who's face that is if i must guess.
I think its probably the face of a new character that will be the playable character in S3.
Oh, I must have forgotten that then.
When you said you saw improvements, what did you notice? I've been looking on and off but I think it looks fairly close to Michonne.
Those leaves on the right seem way more polished imo, That was my first impression.
So they upgraded their engine to look like a blury mess? wtf.
Jk. It's propably an establishing shot of where we are gonna go. Some random place.
Actually, I tried to sketch it, and zooming in and tried to see stuff, i saw a blood stain. To me looks like a part of Crawford.
Or maybe the alone ending?
I actually see, someones eye and eyebrow in the A.
And a part of someones hair in the E.
Also at the top of the letters , A,and D I see hair.

Closer look, It looks nothing like it!

Am I the only one having a difficult time trying to see this "face" that everybody is seeing?
I'm thinking that TT would post an image of a place everyone will go, since some people didn't get that ending. But who knows, it could be a starter location.
It took me a while to find it, but I think the easiest way to see it is to look directly beneath the little triangle in the 'A'.
From there, you should be able to see an eye. Then you can go right and make out an ear.
I honestly believe that it is pareidolia more than an intended face.
OMG, I called it. The hype is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO REAL!!!!
Can you share your sketch? i'm interestd in it!
This is @OzzyUK's amazing picture enhancement.
It is crazy that Telltale Games hid all of this behind a seemingly black background. I vaguely see a lot of stuff in this picture, though I'm not so sure. I'll come back here and revise whether it was right or wrong whenever we get more information. Now, without further due.
Some type of red brick building. Most likely a house, since the roof points to the top. There also is a door with a barricaded window, and a flight of cement stairs leading to said door. I even see a rifle hanging over the door, but I don't think that's what it is. (Left)
Some piping and a terracotta pot with a plant next to the flight of stairs. (Lower left)
The silhouette of trees behind the "E" and the "A." (Center)
Sunrising or sunsetting. The strange, purple sky comes into play, since we saw a similar sunset with Sarah in the rooftop in "In Harm's Way" when she was about to jump. This suggests that this is a shot of the outskirts of Howe's Hardware. (Upper center)
I agree with @OzzyUK that the vertical and horizontal bars could be that, uh, that… structure, that some buildings have on the outside, similar to ladders. Don't kill me, I'm not a native speaker—I just remembered the difference between ladders and stairs. (Upper right)
A truck with multiple plants at the top, inside a wooden base. (Center and lower right)
A vague, glowing road with lots of potted plants to the right. (Lower center)
TL;DR: This is most likely a secured neighborhood with a yard where they grow plants.
Everyone is trying their damnest to try and figure this out, aren't you all?
Personally, it looks like a small country town or city. Boarded houses, trash cans knocked over in the streets or alley, some power lines, fire escape/balcony. Nothing much else.
