Lol, I usually don't trash other people's theories but these Arya theories are getting out of hand. Hey, how about this: Arya didn't expect … morethe FM would come after her, she bought passage to Westeros, stopped on the bridge to look at the magnificent view and dreamt about seeing home and family again - and got surprised! Wow, quite simple and understandable isn't it? But hey, what the hell do I know - perhaps the cat fight on the bridge was between two faceless men we've never even seen before! I mean it makes no sense for the story, but it's technically possible so why the fuck not!? XD

This episode was good , but glover got me real sad on the ironborn stuff , i tought Northerners and Ironborns were friends since ancient Northern soldiers could change their aliigance to join them ^^
i do hope i'll get paid for revealing this Turncloak !
Lol, do you know that guy or how the hell have you noticed this? I think there are other similar cases too though. IIRC someone had spotted the same extra as Stark soldier and later as Lannister soldier, or something like that.

I do remember what happened in season one and that made a lot more sense than this. The Mountain isnt even alive. The Hound would be fighting an empty shell. How would this be satisfying?
I mean you remember what happened season one, right? Mini Clegane bowl.
Well who says it wouldn't make sense for it to happen again? It'l… morel be hard to get Sandor to KL, but it's not like Jaimes not going back. I mean he has to be there when the trial by combat happens.
Loras vs Robert Strong... Just like season one. Except it turns into CleganeBowl, like season one.
Stabbing someone three times in the gut, turning the blade, then ending with your target thrown in the canal where people throw their shit/p… moreiss in it, I'm pretty sure anyone would die of this.
Now it's a story, no one would want her character dead (yet) so I guess it's for the plot she survived, not because the assassin did its job wrong.
(Btw, Jaqen asked to waif last episode: "don't make her suffer". It seems she lied when she agreed.)
I like to call it the Frankenstein effect, but with the classic GoT twist. It won't be about the Hound wanting to get revenge on his brother or anything, and it may have literally nothing to do with wanting to champion or protect the high sparrow.
The way I see it, no matter what happened between the two they are brothers. They have both lived some fucked up lives and done some fucked up stuff to get where they are now, with Sandor being at least in control of his body. And as much as Sandor would want to beat his brother up, it'll all change when he sees what they made his brother into. My theory is that the Hound will want to kill the monster that is Robert Strong more than he'd care about killing his brother.
Though the Hound won't realize how bad his brother really is until he sees him, I think he'd be more fueled trying to stop the monster that his brother is now than he would be worried about getting revenge on what used to be his brother. I don't think Sandor will want to kill Robert Strong but there won't be much communicating going on.
I do remember what happened in season one and that made a lot more sense than this. The Mountain isnt even alive. The Hound would be fighting an empty shell. How would this be satisfying?
I've seen a lot of people complain about how Blood of My Blood and The Broken Man were "boring", but personally I'm really enjoying these plot and character development based episodes. While I do enjoy the action Game Of Thrones offers, e.g. in Episode 5, it's nice to sit back and just observe how the story moves forward, even if it's not that intense.
for me i like to theorize something more grand because i really found that freaking stupid... this is one of my biggest complaints when it comes to the shows writing..

just Arya letting her guard down like that.. not having needle, just strolling around Braavos like that on broad day light when she knows the faceless men founded the city. it was stupid, imo.
I know that she should have been more cautious, but thinking back, Arya has never experienced getting assassinated before. And no matter what people say, she is still a kid and inexperienced. So thinking of that, I think it is not implausible that she will make such a mistake, especially from someone who can change their faces.

I really liked this episode, the slower pace worked well. I would've loved to have seen more of the Brother Ray/Hound relationship, as it was very interesting. A bit like The Walking Dead episode "Here's Not Here".
She was never directly told that she would be killed if she fails the mission/leaves the HoBaW. Tbh, I think Jaqen might've even let her go, it's just the Waif who has an obsession with killing Arya.
just Arya letting her guard down like that.. not having needle, just strolling around Braavos like that on broad day light when she knows the faceless men founded the city. it was stupid, imo.
but they kinda did tell her. " a girl has gotten a second chance, she will not get a third.", " one way or another, a face will be added to the hall."
that insinuates, at least imo, that if she fucked up or didnt do it for whatever reason, that it might cost her her face, life.
also so what was the point of the scene in episode 5 or 6? after she gets Needle, she looks like she's getting ready. i mean maybe she was just going to sleep but it seemed like she was getting ready to set up a fight in the dark against the waif, since she was blind for a while and then she would have the upper hand.
but like i always say, ill just wait to judge for the conclusion, maybe they do have something planned.

She's definitely my favourite female character in the show right now.
I knew from the very start that she couldn't be manipulated, not even by the High Sparrow. I'm just hoping she'll find a way to free Loras and get out of King's Landing while she still can, I have a feeling the city won't be doing so well by the end of this season...
I was so happy when she took Olenna's hand and I heard a sound. I was all "What was that? Did she just put something in her hand? Is she still Margaery?" (sees Tyrell Sigil) "YES!!!"
She's definitely my favourite female character in the show right now.

It was a great set up episode, I'll give it that. My favorite parts were the scenes at Riverrun. The scenes with Lothar and Black Walder were just hilarious and pathetic and the Blackfish was, of course, a badass. I forgot his voice sounded like that, though, so it caught me off guard at first.
When i first saw that episode with euron , and when i saw this guy , i knew i already saw his face , but i let it go and didn't trouble to search , , with the last week's episode , i got nostalgic for Ned stark character , since he's still to this day one of my favorite characters in the show , i looked back some of his scenes , made the link with the ironborn stuff and posted it here . :DD
Lol, do you know that guy or how the hell have you noticed this? I think there are other similar cases too though. IIRC someone had spotted the same extra as Stark soldier and later as Lannister soldier, or something like that.
Well, then that means Arya hasn't learned anything during her time with the FM. Her not expecting them to come after her is highly unlikely, just look at the end of Episode 6, she was clearly preparing to either sneak away or fight.
Arya isn't stupid, and I would think not that careless either. Also, where is Needle? You can't tell me that she would wander around without it, and if HBO forgot to add it, that's a pretty stupid error. Where did she get that much silver in that short a time? Why does she speak so snobbish? I don't think the theory that it was another FM testing the Waif is that far fetched, who seems to have a personal grudge with Arya, which the FM's 'code' forbids. For now, I think it was a trap/test for the Waif, which she clearly failed since she made 'Arya' suffer. I also believe that the FM playing Arya was acting out of character and leaving small hints (no silver, new hairstyle, not necessarily Needle since I don't think they know) to see if the Waif would realize or if she would be blinded by her seeming hatred for the real Arya.
I don't know. It might be stretching it, but I refuse to accept that Arya would be so careless and stupid all of the sudden when the ending of the previous Episode shows she isn't.

One details that some viewers has pointed out. Arya is left handed. When she threw the coins to the captain, she was using her right-hand. I know, this might just be because Maisie is right-handed in real life, so that detail can easily be a small mistake. But just a detail to point out.

Or maybe she was just going to sleep at the end of episode 6? All we know is that she retrieved her sword, went to some dark room or under bridge or whatever and unlit the candle. That doesn't mean she was preparing for anything.
Now, her not having Needle is probably the only valid point I give to these theories, but she could've just left it to that place where she slept. And Jaqen testing Waif wouldn't mean that it wasn't the real Arya who was attacked. And if it was Jaqen with Arya's face, why wouldn't he just stop Waif's attempt right there at the bridge and make it clear that she failed her test? I'm sure it would make even less sense for him to be surprised, considering his experience and the fact that he supposedly set it up? Or if the idea of the test was just check if Waif would make her suffer, does that mean that if Waif would've passed the test (and not make her suffer), Jaqen (or whoever was passing as Arya) would've died then? Because you know, that's what happens if you kill without letting suffer.
And the silver really isn't that big thing - Arya may have trained to be an assassin, but that training surely is useful for stealing purses as well. I didn't really see anything 'snobbish' about her behavior, just being happy that she gets back to Westeros.
People seem to make these theories because they think it's otherwise "bad writing", but most of these theories would just make it much worse writing imho. But if they manage to pull it off somehow, then no problem.
And the left hand thing: if Maisie is right-handed (and I think she is?) there is not really even need to look deeper into that.
Well, then that means Arya hasn't learned anything during her time with the FM. Her not expecting them to come after her is highly unlikely,… more just look at the end of Episode 6, she was clearly preparing to either sneak away or fight.

Haha, no problem I'm glad someone posted it because it's once again glorious. I know the three red riders and the blood flowing down from them represent the BwB, but at the same time.... This picture has a bloody hound, and a bloody mountain

My guess is we'll have one or two scenes at Dorne in the finale. It's 69 min episode (longest GoT episode ever) so 2 mins to Dorne wouldn't be bad, especially if it's about them allying with Dany or something like that.

Requiescate in fanatism Lancel. It requires some balls to try to kill FrankenMountain with a staff.
Huh...Shall we start the funeral preparation for Lancel?
NO! I've really grown to like Lancel. Not a fan of his cause but his character has taken a really interesting turn.
Man... I love Margaery so much! She's such an awesome character.
She's definitely my favourite female character in the show right now.

Next week is going to lit as hell!
It felt good to see Jaime in a moment that resemble the books. It was satisfying to see him slap Black Walder with his golden hand.
I think that Lancel doesn't have his spine anymore
When i first saw that episode with euron , and when i saw this guy , i knew i already saw his face , but i let it go and didn't trouble to search , , with the last week's episode , i got nostalgic for Ned stark character , since he's still to this day one of my favorite characters in the show , i looked back some of his scenes , made the link with the ironborn stuff and posted it here . :DD
I agree that he has gotten more interesting. He's finally not just Cercei's lapdog. It doesnt look good for him though.
The Freys are so friggin pathetic. I just want them taken down and gotten out of my sight.
Why'd you edit out that he's hot now?
Because I took another look at that picture above and I wasn't feeling it. I do think he's hot but also kind of creepy with that symbol on his head.
Expect a wild first sword of Braavos next episode.. Maybe.

Sorry, @WildlingKing, I am posting for you this week.

I had a terrible dream about the coming episodes...
I...I saw the Sand Snakes...
I hope my dreams are wrong...
And the star of the Seven.. Hype!

Yeah thats what I assume, I wouldnt mind them that much as a smaller role.
People cant really believe the Dorne storyline is never going to reappear. As much as people seem to hate that storyline, it has to be resolved.
