***Edited*** Playing as Javier and Clem
Edit
Just watched the trailer by itself but apparently I missed that we play as both lmao
There's a lot of talk about what the mark means and Clem's missing finger but to be honest, just wondering who we're gonna play as next season.
I honestly would like to play as Clem rather than someone new but we'll just have to see I guess.

We are playing as both Javier and Clem!
both, did some people have Job on mute or something? he said, clear as day, we're playing as both.
So is the co-protagonist thing TTG's new thing? They've done that with a couple since Tales came out.
I think the only one that hasn't had multiple protagonists simultaneously is Minecraft Story Mode, but you can still choose to be male or female in that one.
I just watched the trailer, my bad.
Didn't she already kick a door down tho?
i was just making jokes lol
Fucking funniest scene in season 2 tbh
I wish we played as Clem in the flashbacks explaining what happened to her when she was with Kenny/Jane and Javier would be our protagonist after time skip. That would make things much more interesting. Or maybe it's just me because I love flashbacks when they are handled well.
*And Michonne

Right. forgot about the miniseries since it wasn't around for long.
Well, Javier has a Cuban flag on the side of his shirt. Cuban looks vary a lot.
Plus, a name like 'Javier' isn't necessarily limited to Hispanics.
I don't really want Clem's dialogue to be up to the gamer any more tbh so kind of bummed we're playing as both, but it'd be cool having Clem only being played in the flashback bits.
The only thing I'm worried about is the timeskip. I hope the game doesn't start at that point in time or get to it in the first 10-15 minutes. I hope they gradually ease into it.
I suppose just I don't know it feels weird to say. I mean I guess Javier isn't limited to Hispanics, but I have certainly never met a Javier who wasn't Hispanic.
That door ain't shit.
Lolwhat
Multiple playable characters sucks. I really hope that they didn't do this because they wanted to try and please everyone. Now we run the risk of neither character getting enough time to be developed properly.
It worked amazingly in Tales from the Borderlands so I have high hopes.
Looks like the choices we all made in season 2 were pretty much pointless but we're have to wait and see.
To be fair, Clementine is already an established character. She's been around for 2 seasons now. They already have all the groundwork and foundation laid out for Clementine's character, which means they have more time to focus on establishing Javier, alongside further developing Clementine. If they were both two entirely new characters, I could understand the concern, but I think they've given themselves enough elbow-room to make this work.
I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet, not at least until we have more information about S3's story and all that. Hopefully we'll be getting a little more info during Comic-con next month.
I kinda hope it'll be like Fallout 3, where you see a few memories before you get into the main story.
Bigby would be jealous of her.
I still kinda wish we were just playing as Clem, I almost feel like Javier was just made so people could stop complaining about how "a little girl can't do that!" although now shes about 13.
I kinda of like the idea of playing both Clem and Javier, it is kinda like Season 1 and 2 you got to play both Lee and her, I think that is the same thing they are trying to do here.
Well they proved they can do two main playable character's in tales from the borderlands so i have faith in them. And walking dead was never just one persons story it may start out with one point of view but that grows as its all about working together in these dark times so new character need introduction's and about the same screen time as the old. otherwise Daryl would never have been as popular if we just stuck to Rick and Rick alone.
Michonne Miniseries: Runs away crying.
