How Season 3 may take into account previous decisions without following different plots:
There need not be player specific scenes or stories in Season 3. We now know we will playing as Javier sometimes. Well, what if our decisions in Season 2 shaped Clementine's general attitude and approach to people and situations? What if our choices affect what she says/does when we are not controlling her? The implications could be there (determinate deaths and relationships with other characters), while not forcing Telltale to deviate too far from the plot they have written for this season. Let's say choosing Kenny would make Clementine more of an emotional and loyal character, while choosing Jane would make her more cold and pragmatic. Whether you choose to let the family in Howe's or not could determine how much faith Clementine has left in humanity and how trusting she is. The alone ending could signify that she is self-reliant and unable to be swayed by other considerations.

It's possible. They could even tie in how gruesome Clem may be if you decided to watch Kenny bash Carver's head in.
I really hope they don't leave this out. Honestly I think it would have a huge impact on her.
