As freelancepolicefan said, I'm also gonna guess Minecraft Ep 7 will come out first. Batman is probably not going to be until the middle or end of August, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
Episode 5 having a worst case scenario of Episode 5 being a few weeks into January is good. It's still better than waiting 3-4 months for an episode, and Episode 5 potentially coming in January is still close enough to Monthly releases, which is good enough for me.
EDIT: He's not talking about all of the episodes being delayed, he's talking about solely the fifth episode having the possibility of coming out a few weeks later - possibly because of the holidays. Telltale has countless series prior to the Walking Dead where they had monthly episode releases that were longer and had more gameplay. I don't see why it's impossible for Telltale to get back to monthly releases.
As a minor update for "all episodes aiming to be out by the end of the year," Job is hinting that they might release Episode 5 a few weeks into January if they cannot reach a December release for that particular episode, but the rest of the episodes are still due by the end of the year. There is still a chance that Episode 5 could release in December, so we'll have to wait and see.
Job seems to share my apprehension about the deadline.
I was looking back at his tweets, and another tweet seems to clarify he was specially referring solely to the fifth episode possibly coming out a few weeks into January, as opposed to an overall hesitance that they will get more than a very small amount of episodes out this year like what you (might) be insinuating: Aiming to have all 5 out, but always possible the 5th may move a few weeks into Jan. We aren't in a rush!

Well considering its going to be on IOS/android(?) the specs themselves shouldn't be too high. If you could run Michonne on high settings well I think you should be able to run Batman just fine.
I kinda don't like monthly releases. MCSM episode 1-4 weren't that much enjoyable, episode 5-6 were better cause they didn't do monthly releases anymore. And Michonne had so many bugs, glitches, long loading screens and lags.
They've gotten better about returning to monthly episode releases as they did before Season 1 of Walking Dead. Both Minecraft Eps 1-4 and Michonne have had monthly episode releases.
If Joker gets a role in this game, it would be insane if Troy Baker dares to play Joker as well as he did in Arkham Origins. Would you wish it happens?

Virtually none of that has any correlation to monthly releases whatsoever. Episode bugs/etc will happen independently of whether an episode is released monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly - Episodes 5 and 6 of Minecraft had bugs, and those episodes were not released monthly. I assume you were not around before Walking Dead - Telltale released monthly episodes beforehand, and those were good episodes too. Telltale isn't going to start "rushing" their episodes - it just means that they are going back to their process before Walking Dead Season 2/Wolf/ and all games after where they work on more of their episodes in advance. Not only do we get episodes quicker, but we get a more consistent story since Telltale will presumably not be rewriting as many parts, and they can instead spend that time polishing the story and presentation.
I personally liked games such as Game of Thrones or Season 2 of Walking Dead, but some people pointed out that they did not like those games as much as other titles like Wolf, Borderlands, etc - but Thrones/Season 2 did not have monthly releases. Telltale can only realistically change so much of the story with longer episode waiting periods in a way that still fits the story's logic and presentation of the earlier episodes. Sure, there can be improvements, but it's not going to make a drastic difference in the overall story. It would really only serve to increase or decrease how much you already like or dislike a certain story.
In other words, if the earlier episodes of Minecraft did not get you hooked as you said in your post, then longer waiting periods could only fix so much - it's not like they can change the story elements that they presented in earlier episodes that you did not like - it just means that they can make improvements and tweaks to future episodes, which would ultimately not matter too much for people who did not come in liking the series in the first place. I assume a large part of why you like Episodes 5-6 is because those are focusing on a new storyline that you happen to like.
Like, I get that it feels weird since newer people came in at a point where bi-monthly/quarterly episodes are the norm so you fear that Telltale is "spending less time", but that's not the case. Telltale has a long history of releasing monthly episodes - this is not a new development that indicates that they are going to start rushing episodes out at an abnormally fast pace. I'm honestly baffled that people are willingly advocating that we wait three-four months for a 60 to 90 minute episode, but maybe I'm just biased as an old fan used to waiting only a month for an episode.
If nothing else, we should at least wait and see how Season 3/Batman turn out.
(Yes, I know - Michonne's episodes were only an hour long - but they already confirmed episodes are going to be around 90-120 minutes for Batman - and I assume by extension that applies to Season 3 as well)
I kinda don't like monthly releases. MCSM episode 1-4 weren't that much enjoyable, episode 5-6 were better cause they didn't do monthly releases anymore. And Michonne had so many bugs, glitches, long loading screens and lags.
I can't help but feel a little worried about the supposed monthly release schedule. I really hope that means they're just getting more of the game done before release.
Yes, that is what they mean. I would not worry about it. Michonne's delay of Episode 1 from "Fall" to February should be a good example of this.
Telltale's older episodes were also monthly, so they do have past experience. It's just that, around Wolf/Season 2/Thrones/Borderlands, they deliberately held back episodes a little longer since they were trying to recreate different parts of their episode design process that made Season 1 of Walking Dead successful - which, in this case, was how they held back Episodes of Walking Dead Season 1 to change the context that choices were presented in using data from past episodes and revising cinematography, dialogue, etc.
Then, for newer series like Wolf/Season 2/Thrones/Borderlands, they amplified that idea to an even larger degree since they felt that it worked for Season 1. That's also why they made episodes shorter and lessened the amount of hub areas or puzzles in Season 2 of Walking Dead and other newer Telltale series - they saw their success from Season 1 as being because it was an interactive TV show/movie (as opposed to a role playing experience), so they pushed the interactive TV/movie formula further for new titles.
In other words, stuff like shorter episodes with less hubs/puzzles on top of longer waiting periods between episode releases after Season 1 of Walking Dead were not a result of Telltale working on multiple series at once like some people thought. Telltale also had several periods where they worked on multiple projects at once before Season 1 of Walking Dead, and all of those turned out fine. People mainly like to focus on Telltale's history starting with Walking Dead, and miss details from their earlier history that offer better explanations behind things like this.

Fun fact: Walking Dead was one of seven/eight projects Telltale had been working on when it was announced. They were working on Back to the Future and Jurassic Park, and in the middle of working on those games, had a press event where they announced five games in one day, including Walking Dead Season 1 and Fables (later becoming Wolf Among Us).

Like I said, I get it feels weird coming in as a new fan since they haven't done monthly episodes for a while, but it'll be fine!
(If you guys are wondering what the deal is with my posts lately - I'm making so many posts defending monthly episodes because I don't want Telltale to get the impression that people do not want monthly episodes, since most people's concerns are coming from a place where they only focus on Telltale's history from Walking Dead onward. I'm not saying that as an insult or anything to imply people are deliberately not looking into the whole story, and it's completely understandable why most people only focus on Walking Dead onward. However, I just want to fill you guys in on the overall bigger picture so that if you guys give feedback to Telltale about monthly releases, it is based off of valid information instead of misunderstandings and incorrect assumptions.)
Yeah, they cancelled it because they wanted to make games that focused on story instead of puzzle (nothing capacity related). It would have been neat to see, but on the bright side, Sierra did eventually release their own version of King's Quest which I hear is good. I actually have the first episode in my library but I have not gotten to it yet. :P
If Joker gets a role in this game, it would be insane if Troy Baker dares to play Joker as well as he did in Arkham Origins. Would you wish it happens?
Two different games really, but I liked kings Quest more than some telltale games. It mixed puzzles, comedy, emotion, and story so well (well episode 1 anyways. Haven't played other 2 yet)

August is the eighth month of the year (between July and September) in the Julian and Gregorian calendars and one of seven months with a length of 31 days.[1]
In the Southern Hemisphere, August is the seasonal equivalent of February in the Northern Hemisphere. In many European countries, August is the holiday month for most workers. The Perseid meteor shower peaks during July and August.

Story Mode episode 7 is more likely to come out first since I believe that is having monthly episode releases.
As freelancepolicefan said, I'm also gonna guess Minecraft Ep 7 will come out first. Batman is probably not going to be until the middle or end of August, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
So it's gonna be... June, July, August for Minecraft. Then August, September, October, November, December for Batman.
Maybe they'll cross eachother. You know, Batman early-mid August and Minecraft mid-late August.

Holy crap, that's really impressive!
Thank you.
So It was YOU who did one of first 13 old Clementine drawing?
WOW!
yes that was me
Why is it so calm and silence here?
Damn girl! Wasnt the clem drawing enough to make us speechless?
Jaw-dropping
Not a lot of news. Not much room for discussion.

I think the finale should be released this december.
Ok wow. You are blowing my mind with all these drawings, amazing work.
Hey, guys!
What do you think, how high will be system requirements of updated engine?
I hope I said right.
Well considering its going to be on IOS/android(?) the specs themselves shouldn't be too high. If you could run Michonne on high settings well I think you should be able to run Batman just fine.

I wouldn't be surprised if a game gets made one day where Troy Baker and Nolan North voice every single character and they all sound different...
However, I'd go with John DiMaggio. He was great in Under The Red Hood.
Thank U
This made me so happy at night. Probably I even can't fall asleep.
Or maybe not.

This so much.
What month is August?
Sierra are the publishers and not the developers for King's Quest 2015. KQ 2015 is developed by the Odd Gentlemen.
