That's to save him from being eaten alive, since he was not immediatedly dying at that moment.

Can we stop with the silly hypotheticals?

What about Ben? Kenny puts him out of his misery if saved. Why did he do that? You tell me.

  • I've never claimed I was.

  • You know there's a difference between being a walker and being dead right? Stop using this "he is dead so it makes no difference" excuse as it honestly doesn't make sense.

Uh mind pointing out this difference? Technically speaking when you become a walker your subconscious is gone (which is you). You don't suffer as a walker because the walker ISN'T you, a walker is just a reanimated dead body, you don't feel anything it does, you're long gone by the time your body reanimates.

    Read my bio.

I don't see why they should. It seems like the byproduct of an overly narcissistic person.

How so? I tell him not to butt in, he does so anyway, no one is harmed. I never pretended that I had any power over his actions or any status that should force him to, that doesn't have to mean I can't make a demand even if it goes unfulfilled and I knew it would turn up like that.

You sure like this charade of trying to turn this discussion back towards my person. Try staying on topic of the subject matter before you analyse what kind of person someone random on a online profile like this, is. The only one pretending to be better that anyone else here is you.

  • Don't worry you didn't hurt my feelings, just made me chuckle at how cringey your bio is.

  • I personally don't believe in such things as "souls". I said that when you die your consciousness (mixed it up with subconsciousness) dies, which is for all intents and purposes you. After that your body reanimates, that body has nothing left of you anymore, any pain caused to it will not be felt by you because you as a person have gone to the black abyss.

This is all speculation of course, considering there are no zombie like diseases in real life yet so we can't really scientifically explain zombies.

No, the whole theme of Clementine's is a balance of mercy (which is what her name means), Lee's actions can harden her in that way depending on what she's exposed to and how Lee responds to her.

  • And I just read your bio, and I believe the answer is no

Mine's a reference to a game that you obviously won't get. It's not me saying "if I find you annoying then there's something wrong with you huehue"

  • tbh it's kinda cool that she can choose for you. i've noticed that one of the big decisions that decides whether or not she shoots you is if you kill larry or try to revive him. if you kill him, she'll for sure shoot you. i tried to revive larry, so she left me instead.

    Here's the popcorn.

  • Yeah I do too, I actually wanted to let her choose last time I played through the game, but forgot in the moment of the sadness xD

  • Dude you should've made this thread when season 1 ended. There are hundreds of these threads, why did you make this?

Could you be any more rude?

And besides, what's the harm in doing so?

  • I kept in mind that the decision of shooting Lee or leaving him wasn't made by Clementine, but Lee himself. Since I was playing as Lee and he was deciding his own fate, I made Clem leave him, because the bullet might come in handy for her later. Though if I was deciding Lee's fate as Clem, I would shoot him to end his suffering :|

  • How did you find this thread?

  • I got bored so I started looking at some older posts and stumbled upon this. Completely forgot this is a month old post :p

How did you find this thread?

  • I chose to leave Lee. I felt really shitty about it at the time, but I felt it was the lesser of two evils.
I felt it was a horrible thing to make the poor kid do, shooting her last guardian through the head. Yes, it would have given Lee mercy. And yes, she probably will have to kill someone eventually. But I felt happy that I spared her having to go through that horrific act after just seeing her parents as walkers, even if it only preserved that innocence for a little longer.
I did feel kind of cheated, hacking off Lee's arm only to beg her to leave him handcuffed to a radiator in some crappy jewellery store, but I couldn't put her through hell just for Lee's benefit. I had to think about her well being above his. Lee was dead either way, walker or not. And the three options Lee has when he asks her to leave summed up how I felt perfectly:
    The noise
    The bullet
    Shooting things changes you
While I chose the third of these, all three of them apply to my way of thinking. Giving that poor nine year old even the slightest advantage made it all worth it - the walkers wouldn't be lured by the loud gunshot, she'd have one more bullet which could make all the difference and shooting things definitely changes people, especially at such a young age. I didn't want her to lose that little bit of innocence she had, not then.
But hey, that's the brilliance of this game - subjectivity. There's no real wrong answer here, as both are - in their own ways - morally right and morally wrong.
Sorry for the long post, guys and gals!

I'm sorry, I don't mean to ruin that moment but I always thought Clementine had shit aim in that ...shot.
