  • They're both entirely different but some of the major plot points are in both. You can enjoy both without spoiling either

  • When I was watching the series,I was waiting for Shane death every episode!

  • Comic spoiler is worse. But don't worry, if you have been in Internet enoght time, then you already know all the spoilers.

Comic spoils the show, mostly on where they go and the characters they meet.

While some comic events are pretty accurate, the show likes to switch things up.

Sometimes though the comic or show drags a storyline out or speeds it up, so yeah.

  • I would say it is the exact same.

The comic doesn't have any more or less plot points in common with the show than the show has in common with the comic. Since they are only two media, they spoil each other just as much.

I would advice you to read one volume at a time and then catch up on the show, and stop when you feel like the show will go ahead of the comics. Rinse and repeat!

This. I started reading the comics at the end of S4. And reading the comics was a thrill. But after catching up and watching S5 and S6, I was a little disappointed in how the show handled a few situations and characters.
