In my own theory and again its just a theory I think the way that Javier and Clem meet up they will be kidnapped by some people the meet up in person or some place locked maybe the leader will interrogate Clem and Javier if the answer Based on your choices if its negative for the questioner if you Clem you'll lose your finger if you Javier you'll burn
If it was Positive you'll keep your own finger and you'll never be burn like the walking dead michonne episode one

    I think that Clem's finger depends on endings we chose in season 2, but I don't know about Javi. But you could be right, in the new screenshot we can see that they're defenceless, Javier doesn't have his gun and Clem has only a knife.
