The host can always override their decisions (if they use that certain mode.) I think of this as just a better way to understand what your audience wants to choose. A recommendation mode, I guess you could say.
Crowd Play for Batman, while it is cool for a group, I imagine a group of dicks making a Streamer's choices all silent options.
EDIT: Oh, it's suggested to not use for livestreaming. Still, I imagine some streamers will do it.
Hello, anyone knows if we pre-order the game in playstation store if the game will be available to play midnight 2nd august?
Which platform will have the game available at midnight?

The whole point of the crowd play feature is for several people to participate in the choice making. How would they do that if they all have to stare at one tiny phone? No livestreamer would use a mobile device instead of a console or PC either, so there goes the 'not-in-one-room' crowd play. So no, I doubt very much that the crowd play feature will ever make its way onto mobile/handheld.
The final Batman PC Specs are now on Steam (other sites still need to be updated). Mac specs are still not final.
PC Minimum Specs:
… moreOS: Windows 7 64Bit Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTS 450+ with 1024MB+ VRAM (excluding GT)
DirectX: Version 11
Additional Notes: Not Recommended for Intel integrated graphics
I read the crowd play description and I'm still a bit confused. So it's primarily for people that are already in the room with you, rather than streamed online? Wouldn't they just yell their choices verbally if they're in the same room? I was pretty hyped, but I guess latency is a pretty big issue. Hopefully one that can be worked on for the future of the feature. Neat, anyways
I'm sure this just gives an easier way of knowing how many people want what. It can get pretty confusing when 5 people scream out 4 different dialogue choices at you.

For some reason, I have this nagging feeling in the back of my head that the Batman series is going to tease us with the same scene for a few episodes... (Like TFTB's Tector and his Magical Machinegun clip [which never came to be] or TWAU's Bigby Transformation clip [which was teased until revealed in Episode 3].) Just a hunch.

It seems like something you'll only be able to play with people in the same room. Don't know why it allows up to 2000 people though, I mean my living room is pretty big but it's not quite there yet.
The fact that people are never happy can be seen best in this fandom.
" A The Walking Dead game?! WTF?!"
"A Borderlands game?! WTF?!"
"A Minecraft game?! WTF?!" (this one I agree with, but still)
"A Batman game?! WTF?!"
Plus, the comments demanding for other games. It always was "where's TWD Season 3?!", and now, when more info is available for Season 3, it's suddenly TWAU Season 2. There were people asking for it before, but it only really took off when all the guys demanding for Season 3 joined in. Seems like a big, fat bandwagon to me.
On come on . You can't agree a tiny bit that the batman has been done to death with the movie, games ,etc. I've made my peace with Borderlands , and I love the Walking Dead . But The Batman .....there are other heroes dammit.

Yeah and we like The Wolf Among us but we're getting sick of hearing "Where's TWAU Season 2?" on every video Telltale makes. And Batman is not "instead" of Wolf, it's a separate game that would exist even if TWAU S2 did.
Am I the only one who can't help but feel like...
The guy in the first trailer. From December.
He's talking about the glory that Gotham had 'long before this.'
Talking about how he 'took their responsibility from them.'
Now, those can sound fine...
But the line that intrigues me, is that they want to take back the night.
That doesn't sound like something a politician would say.
This was probably early in development, might not even make it into the game... But does that sound like the Court of Owls to anyone else?
If you'll all remember the Labyrinth scene from the Court of Owls... Having that be animated in a game engine would bring it to life way better, and would be awesome for a Telltale game.
Though, Batman is probably too young to take them on...Though, the Night Of The Owls would be way more intense if you were the only Bat in Gotham, deciding who to save.
Well, I predicted it. I have to work on Tuesday at another city. I knew something will come up that keep me from downloading the episode right at the start. I wish I could play the episode and enjoys its visuals on my huge screen at home, but at least we know that my Laptop can handle this game.
You did not post an opinion. You posted a passive aggressive comment dissing the game and beating a dead horse, because let's face it TWAU S2 is nothing but a dead meme by now.

Do you think they will do crowd play on mobile after batman releases

Nope. PS store doesn't update until later in the day.
Oh. Yeah, that makes sense.
Edit: Removed notification thing. Seems to be from the way I use the browser.

YES!
I also just noticed Telltale didn't put any recommended specs for Michonne, so looks like these are also recommended. Woohoo!

What about a tablet
They went with this instead of the wolf among us season 2..........great call...
The Batman has been done to death. Pass..
Thanks
You sound like a generic youtube comment that's on every video telltale releases.

I swear you only comment on stuff in an attempt to ruin things for everyone else.

Generic youtube comment....never.
That's not true at all.
Lmao why am I not surprised seeing you commenting something like that.
Don't get it twisted I like batman but damn enough already . I can't be the only one who feels this way.
"there are other heroes"
Yeah, and there are plenty of movies, tv series, comics and games for those other heroes. So what if Telltale makes their game of Batman?
I think I can honestly say I've never seen a positive comment from you.
That is also not true. I have said many positive things.

Yep.
wut
I was talking about what you guys were saying to @Cope49
What do you mean
LOL. Some people can't handle differing opinions dude.
So they like to gang up on you . Makes them feel proud but really they are just followers .

That's rich coming from you.
What did I do?
