it will be so predictable if javier dies in season 3

- season 1: lee
- season 2: luke
- season 3: javier (?)
if javier dies in season 3 finale, then the pattern will be more than obvious. every guardian of clementine will die. its predictable and unrealistic. i know telltale loves clem, but it would be nice to have one of her companions live for more than just one season. id be happy if writers actually surprised us and kill baby aj instead.

I agree with Javier but AJ.
Personally I just hope they dont kill the entire cast apart from clementine AGAIN. Season 2 there was no reason to kill pretty much all the characters, the game should work on developing several characters over several seasons, rather than just have more or less independent seasons. There is a reason kenny and clementine are among the more popular characters
Predictable? What?
Well, he's at the same level as Clementine, so there's a chance they'll both survive. I swear to god if Telltale make us choose between Javi and Clem...
i can only see that happening if this is the final season.
Oh, I don't think he'll be her guardian, I have them as equals, also, depending on how they do it, it wouldn't be SO predictable. But yeah, I hope that Javier lives through the Season.
You know how they say third time's a charm? Yeah it's, It's really not.
He's not her guardian. Nor was Luke.
I don't think Javier is her guardian. Clem can take care of herself and have her own story. And so will Javier.
Oh man, when the season finale comes, I can already see some of the fanbase going like: #IfJaviDiesWeRiot #JaviForSeason4 XD I'm sure people who hate him will end up liking him. Just please, Telltale, don't make us choose between "Chocolate or Vanilla" this time. (And no, I'm not talking about Nick XD)
i know feminism is really popular these days and i know some of you think clem is badass who doesnt need protection but fact is that shes still a little girl. she was a kid in season 1, she was a kid in season 2 and she will be a kid in season 3. so yeah, javier will be her guardian in my eyes. they put him in game for a reason. 14 year old girl (with a toddler) cant survive on her own whether you like it or not.
The hell does feminism have to do with this?
Some people say they will make Season 4, but I doubt it.
clem is typical example of feminist propaganda in media imo. so are jane and molly. i mean i dont mind it but they really need to draw a line before it becomes too ridiculous. dont you think it was unrealistic how they portray her in season 2? she was 11 year old girl yet entire group depended on her. i swear if she turns out to be more badass than javier in season 3 i will cringe so hard.
Sure certain things she could do were a bit over the top but that's not because she's female.
Luke doesn't count as a guardian to Clementine imo. Kenny and Jane were to a degree. Haven't the writers said that the new character will be more like a friend than a guardian anyway? Anyhow I agree that it will be a bit predictable if he dies... not that I feel strongly about the situation right now though as we know nothing about him.
lol what? kenny was definitely not clems guardian. they never spend any time together... they barely even talked. she spent most time with luke and then with jane in the last two episodes. i agree that jane kind of replace luke by the end of the season.
Really just hoping that when Season 3 ends every character isnt just dead or unknown. It gets way to predictable where you know everyone will just be dead.
Job literally said over and over that Javier isn't Clementines guardian and that she is taking care of herself this season.
First of all: she's 13, no 14.
Second of all: Do you have something againts feminism? It's the "Strong Woman" phrase all over again. You don't have to say "Strong Woman" to imply this woman is strong. Women ARE strong. Why would we even need propaganda? Maybe women aren't as physically strong as men, but we are as intelligent and mentally strong as them BECAUSE WE ARE ALL FRIKING HUMANS! There is more anti-feminism (is that the word?) propaganda in the media, which is horrible. I wouldn't like to get into an argument with you, but you sound so friking sexist I have to. Why can't a women be stronger or more badass than a man? Why would that be ridicuIous? understand that a kid taking care of a bunch of fully grown adults if weird, but what's the problem with women? You sounds like that idiots that think the protagonist of Kill Bill should have been a man. I like strong women (not in that way) in media because they break with the stereotype of weak woman and strong man. Most women in super heroes movies, for example, are just plot devices that get killed at the begining of the movie so the hero becomes a super hero. Screw you and your sexism.
Third of all: Javier will be just her friend, best bro at most. Not guardian.
Fourth of all: There's something called Capital Letters.
Fifth of all: (sorryformybadenglishpleasedontkillme)
first of all, i said that i dont mind feminism. i mind when it becomes too obvious and ridiculous. i just pointed out that clementine has strong feminism propaganda characteristic. it doesnt make me sexist. if i say that clementine is black, will u accuse me of being a racist too? dont bother answering that question because i wont reply to you after this. second, im on internet forum not school, so i dont need to use capital letters if i dont want to. i also dont need to apologise for my bad english because its not my first language. and last, ur obviously looking for argument but it wont work because no one can provoke me on internet. have a great day!
Actually Job kept fluctuation about this. He always said "13 or 14" so she could be 14.
In my opinion, that has more to do with the fact that Clementine was eleven and the playable character at the same time, so Telltale decided to sacrifice realism for the sake of maintaining casual players entertained—especifically those who just want to be involved in the story and don't care about unrealism. I would not factor feminism in there.
I completely agree. AMC kept Daryl, Carol, Glenn, Michonne and Maggie alive for 6/5 seasons. Telltale should do that as well.
Don't trust them. Job and the other Telltale staff are ones we should trust
This.

Ya know ,there is the crowd play thing to consider. If they do implement in S3,the choices will be changeing constantly. I know we would need to choose that option. But I'm one who likes to check out whatever is new about a game asap. If the vast majority of players use this option,it could change the series at its core. This is of more concern than if Javier dies. Its the Walking Dead folks will die. I would like more control of the where and how. Instead we may be given a community vote. We can't agree if Lee should return via flash backs or not return at all. I can see where crowd play helps the devolper, but not how it serves us. Rant over:)
Do you want me to shut up? Okay, I'll shut up. It's not worthy to get into a fight with people I don't know.
But let me tell you, I don't care if you want me to reply to your posts or not, and I don't care if you read this, or if you don't reply to me. I don't want to provoke you, do you think I have nothing better to do than argue with a stranger in internet? I don't like to fight, I just want to make my point clear. I apologize if I sounded agressive to you. I never asked you to change your poit of view, I never wanted to fight, I never even asked you to apoligize for your bad english! I don't think your english is bad, that was me apologizing for my bad english.
I normally respect everyone's opinions, but I can't respect the opinion of someone that thinks that feminism is a bad thing. That doesn't mean I don't resect you, I just don't like this point of view in particular.
I apoligize if something I said offended you (or anyone here), but I kindly disagree with your opinion.
Don't bother answering this because I'm not going to reply to your comments after this one.
Have a nice day.
Hmm,I see your thoughts and they've reminded me of an old Star Trek arguement. On TNG Wesly Crusher character has been hated, from the start, with the base agrueing he's just a kid yadda yadda! Clem has the same probs here multiply by sex and race add puke. I thought gen Y and O were more open minded than the Baby Boomers and Gen X! . That will teach me to belive PBS!
i dont hate clementine. shes my favorite character after troy.
I've kind of adapted this dead radar thing now, where I look at a character and can detect the levels of how dead that character will be. It's pretty much a shock to me now if anybody survives, like 'hey why aren't chu dead?'
But I feel the same way. I really don't want another game of 'and the cast is nearly all dead!' People are going to die yes, but, I only hope Telltale deal with those deaths proper, and that we have some people alive and present by the end. If you know 80% of the people you meet on screen will be dead, determinant or unknown by the time you finish every season, it's hard to give a crap if you're all crapped out
great scene, can u leave now? i get that u and ur friend are on this forum 24/7 but that doesnt mean u have to derail every single discussion with useless gifs. either say something related to topic of discussion or say nothing at all.
You did the exact same thing.
Again, you did the same thing.
no, i stooped down to his level thinking he would maybe realize how childish he looks.
Well, you're not doing any better!
Dude, can you PLEASE stop shuting people up? Let them do what they want to do! They can't hurt anyone, right?
To be fair, @abattoir possibly acted under the assumption that the comment posted by @AronDracula would be taken down for being off-topic, which would ultimately cause their own reply to disappear, too.
