If you thought the steam forums were bad for Michonne's pre-release you should've seen Story Modes. Jesus. I remember getting death threats for saying I was looking forward to it.
The last comment almost sounded mature and whilst I didn't really agree with the Tales from Borderlands part as for what it was (a point and click adventure game) it actually was pretty great in it's gameplay, ect not just the story. But you know, I respected the guy's opinion.
Well, here are some examples..
(this one is funny and I'm pretty sure he's a troll, but just had to include it lmfao)
ED… moreIT: Oh, and also this guy..
"I guess another group of people who may be looking forward to the Telltale version, are people who have psychical or even mental restrictions, that keeps them from playing an Arkham game, as they require more than 1 button."
Really? like, wow.
Not even close to the same thing. Wolf has not been written off by the developers and people still want it so it has a chance to get a second season. You know theres no chance for you to ride or make a pet of, or whatever you want to do to a mammoth.
PSN preorders always have that tagline "playable at midnight PST" BS. Its sadly not true as other Telltale series release in the morning/afternoon of release.
So is it gonna release midnight? Or some other time?
Like...
Monday, August 1st, 11:59:59 PM; No game.
Tuesday, Agusut 2nd, 12:00:00 PM; Batmaaaaaaan.
Is that the case?

And then that last part...
Yeah, go fuck yourself mate.

It really bothers me when people use Game of Thrones as an example of choices not mattering when that game's choices mattered more than any other Telltale game.

THIS. I thought Game of Thrones use of choices was very smart. Deciding how to choose a strategy as Asher/Rodrik, not closing a window in an action scene affecting and creating a bigger fight, and of course episode 6 featuring exclusive scenes for characters. If Batman were to take any Telltale games choice mechanics it has to be from Thrones. Just the idea of choosing when to be Bruce or Batman in certain scenes gets me very excited.

Part of what I love about coming back to this community is that I actually get kind of put down when I read on other forums what people seem to think of Telltale's games. It's so refreshing to come back to a place where people don't have (as many) complaints, and love these games and this company for what they are.

I have only read those forums once for the past 2 years (the amount of time I have been on Steam for), they're hands down the worst forums you can ever go to.
Wow, it's been a few months since I've posted anything here. Hi, everyone!
I preordered Batman earlier today. Not sure about other systems, but the preorder on PS4 is available at a 10% discount and it includes The Wolf Among Us for free! Pretty cool deal.
I'm not sure where they're getting this information though. You think Telltale would make a public announcement about this.
If you check Batman on the series page you can see they removed PS3 and 360 on the list. Welp. Looks like they are probably still ironing out issues with those versions.
Batman - The Telltale Series Episode 1: ‘Realm of Shadows’ premieres digitally worldwide August 2nd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC/Mac. It will also arrive digitally on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later in August. Season Pass Discs for PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will become available September 13th along with mobile versions for iOS and Android devices.

They also mention it will arrive "later in August" on the "‘BATMAN: Unmasked’ In-Game Discussion Series Premiere" News article.

It's funny because I think I'm most excited for Catwoman, because I love Catwoman, but I have no idea how much of a presense she'll have in the first episode.
I'm also really pumped for that character who tells Bruce to make sure he's on the right side. He seems really interesting to me.
Do spoiler tags actually work now because we're getting closer to the premiere and someone thinking their using a spoiler tag could ruin the episode by accident.
Hmm that's pretty interesting... Because my pre-order downloaded to my PS4 and it has this countdown below it which will hit zero on tuesday 00:00 (CEST). I don't know if that's just a standard countdown by Sony but I'm guessing it should be playable after that, right? Considering it preloaded...

I know nothing of Half Life 3.
The Steam discussions for anything are terrible
The only relatively good Steam forum is the actual Steam forum, not the discussion page bullshit

Yeesh. The Internet man, it's just full of colourful characters...

Yeah, same. The comment was fine, then I read the last part.. lol

There's those "PC Masterrace" jackasses for you
About three days until some hot QTE action.
The part about Game of Thrones made me question humanity.
I swear, do people even pay attention to Telltale games anymore?
Can't wait for it to come out. Have it pre-ordered on Steam!

Also, hello there, old friend.

Awh, man. Did it really get delayed on Last Gen?
I've seen like 2 articles...
I didn't watch the Batman Unmasked thing, did it mention that?
I'm not sure where they're getting this information though. You think Telltale would make a public announcement about this.

I like your avatar, Jacob.

Cool . thanks
thnx m8, yours is also gud (I wonder why they didn't have a cover like that for S2 though lol)
Hey! I remember you for your TFTBL gifs only lol, they were really good
Nice
Oh, hey! I remember you... vaguely. Hope you're here to stay?
Ha, thanks!
So long as there's a game I'm interested in! I disappeared after Borderlands wrapped up because GoT and Minecraft were not my cup of tea.
But with Batman about to start, TWD returning soon, and a Marvel game dated for next year, I'll probably be sticking around for a while. :P
I'M SO EXCITED!!

Sweet, my preorder is already downloading on PS4! Says it'll be playable Monday at 9pm for me.
Do you mind telling me your time zone please ?
This should say "Jurassic Park Free Demo". Either way you have your answer.
That's actually super cool. Did Telltale do this before with PS4 releases or is this a first?
Nah doesn't seem to be working with replies, but I do see there's a spoiler tag up above. Thanks for helping regardless.

Pacific time zone!
This is actually my first time preordering a game on PS4, so I'm not sure if they've done this before or not!
I'm guessing it must go off of timezones. I'm pacific time zone, so 9pm my time is the same as midnight EST.
But yeah, I would assume we'll be able to play as soon as the timer finishes its countdown since it's preloaded.
