Kenny lost his family, TWICE, but still wants to lead the group. WHY??? Why doesn't he just take a backseat in the story and let others make the important decisions or atleast listen to what others say.
Imagine if the whole group made it to Wellington safe and sound in Kenny's lead, would they had been allowed to enter? Wellington also rejected Arvo's group. Hence they had the same supply deffel bags.

At the time we chose to go there we couldn't know that they weren't taking more people in. Also, if there's a community that big, it'll always be worth to check out, that's why the choice was clear. Besides, even if the group couldn't stay, letting Clem and AJ there is overall rewarding. Kenny loses his temper often with the group but he cares for them on his own way of caring, I mean, all they do is question him and judge him, but if they need anything he is the one they look up for. He made a lot of mistakes but he still is a good man who is trying to survive, not alone, not only with Clem and AJ, with the whole group, if Bonnie and Mike didn't want to stay, they could've at least had the bloody balls to say that and leave, instead of betraying the group. Then Jane starts that shit in order to prove a point, no doubt he would rely on Clem and AJ, when everybody else had prove they're assholes.

Lee held up okay after his girlfriend was shot in the face. Luke held up okay after his best friend died.
Heck, even Leland kept it together after his wife died and doesn't go full Kenny even if Bonnie admits killing his wife.

I really don't give a shit if you don't like what i'm about to say but i'll say it anyway. Kenny lost his family all in an instant, out of the blue. Now everyone else has lost people too yes, but the thing you have to understand is that everyone is different and react differently to losing a loved one. Kenny technically lost more than everyone else but that doesn't matter, it's how each people deals with grief. He didn't deal with it well and that was unfortunate, that's all there is to it.

He was shown to not be the most...competent character. I thought he would die if I didn't help him. I wanted to get him, move the t… moreractor, and then try to get Shawn. It didn't work out like that, sadly.
* Carley
I trusted her with Lee's past. She just seemed like a very nice person, and she knew how to shoot.
* David
I tried to help him. It was obvious he wasn't getting out of that trap by himself.
* Omid
His leg was injured. Christa seemed like a very strong and athletic person. Omid, with his bad leg, seemed screwed.
* Danny
Mainly just intuition. He just felt like the better option to me.
* Pete
He seemed to be in more trouble than Nick. I liked both characters, and I kind of just panicked and chose him. I also thought maybe I could amputate his leg or something.

Jane was a very skillful survivor. I didn't really think she would die if she tried to help Sarah. It was worth the shot.

disagree. Kenny would have left with just AJ and Clem if he felt that way. He wouldn't have stuck around if he didn't care in any way about them. He got a truck working to get everyone transport to wherever they decided to go. Believe it or not, despite being an asshole at times, i think he wanted them around, safety in numbers and all that. My opinion anyway, take it with a pinch of salt

That's the problem man. Kenny deals with grief by blaming Ben illogically, constant wishing for him to die, beating Arvo again and again and again until the victim snaps and faces the torturer bravely (Ben) or cowardly (Arvo). Your "dealing with grief" shouldn't ruin other's life.

Yeah he comes across as an asshole and i get that and why people can't stand him for that. But his intentions were what he believed were in the best interest for everyone, even though he wasn't to know he was doing the right thing if that makes sense
I agree, and both times he shouldn't have done what he did. Believe it or not, I didn't agree with everything Kenny did but at the same time as i have previously said, i look at both sides of the coin. He had reasons to treat Ben the way he did. He found out this guy was partially the reason his family died and the fact he was putting everyone in danger due to cowardly or dumb decisions. With Arvo it's much the same. Beating him up was uneeded especially just because Arvo cursed at him. It just shows that he lost control of his temper easier than in previous times and for the record I don't agree with him beating him up. However, look at the reasons as to why he did. He saw Arvo as threat previously due to what him and his pals did in holding the group at gunpoint. Kenny was never going to trust him after that. I think i'd be shitty with someone who had threatened me in that way and if someone said "fuck you" to me, i'd be offended. Arvo was asking for a reaction and he got it. But yes the violence was extreme and this was just to show the change Kenny was going through. My point is, he still had a reason for it, even though it was bad.
As for him dealing with the grief, sadly not everyone can deal with it so easily.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who sometimes phrases it that way.
As for the choice, I perfectedly understand: the scenario puts you on a prisoner bus chained to two other criminals, who you just befriended, and ends with you choosing one to mutilate. One is a entitled conman who unapolagetically robbed dozens of people and proudly admits to lying on the stand, the other seems to be a truly noble and friendly guy who is more worried about his heartbroken girlfriend's well-being than defending the fact that he was convicted for statutory rape(. So, its a question of do you put up with the pompous thief or deal with the idea of helping an alleged rapist?
Personally, I cared more about their character than their crimes in this instance (especially since Vince is also a prisoner for murdering some guy he felt was a threat to his brother) and Justin was just too easy a hate-sink that I didn't really hesitate. Danny, on the otherhand, could prove a valuable ally since 1.I recalled the backstory talk between Clementine and Lee, 2.he risked his life trying to get the dangerously highstrung guard to back off, and 3. The game is vague about whether he actually did it or not, at least on my playthrough, since he only comments on it once and the only other comments on in comes from Justin (a selfrighteous conman) and Russell(a former gangbanger who doesn't trust easily).
Also, similar to my later attitude towards Troy possibly joining the Ski Cabin Group, if he did turn out to be guilty or/and strikes again, Vince could deal with him later.
Yeah, there is. You just have to wait really really really looong for it to happen.

The Rusell thing? Gangbanger is a fancy street way for saying someone in a gang of thugs. With "thug" being the average rap music video definition.
Rusell tells Nate that he was in a gang of seven with a gun happy leader named Steve who relentlessly killed other survivors and took their stuff. Which Nate proceeds to do himself, hence causing Rusell to be even more hesitant about trusting people than before.
Not sure how you got confused about that. Also, did we speak recently? I don't recall.

What. In the hell.
And I find myself asking to you again, when was this hinted at?
I suspected that gangbanger was a term that is not safe for work, to put it lightly. A ten second search on Google confirmed my suspicion, so, uh, let's just say that this was a conflict of meaning and leave it at that.
Or you can search gangbanger for yourself. I don't know.

Yeah, I can understand your choice, too. I guess I acted impulsively since I found out he could be a rapist and I didn't trust him when he started making excuses (I think? , I don't really remember). In first time gameplay
I don't even remember why I chose Shawn over Duck, but I just did???
I chose Carley on my first playthrough, but I honestly adore Doug.
I completely panicked and my time ran out, so I chose Travis.
I saved Omid, since he was injured. I thought he would die if I didn't save him, to be honest.
Well, we all know that Danny is the living embodiment of garbage. I just had to choose Justin, man.
I chose Nick on my first playthrough and I don't regret it. Uncle Pete is pretty amazing, though.
Nah, I forced Jane to go down there and save Sarah. I thought that I could save her...
Kenny can literally eat my left shoe for all I care, Jane all the way.
Kenny is different . he is a leader . he lost a lot . one sun . two wife. others pushed him
No, no and no.
No one pushed him. He pushed everyone to follow him on a death march. Did you even play season 2?
Why are you attacking him/her for their opinion?? If he/she wants to think that then let them.
