So which comic characters do you think are most likely to appear in season 3?
Well since it looks like we will be getting some comic characters again making an appearance which ones do you think are most likely to appear. It would most likely have to be some characters that have been traveling around since the the time All Out War ended. One of the first ones you may think of would be Magna and her group. However Magna outright tells Andrea that they did not come across any other survivors during their time out there. I guess you could say she wasn't telling the truth however they have really set Magna up as a character that thinks highly of the Alexandria community and wants to fit in with them (infact she even admonishes members of her own group when they say bad things about Alexandria.
Another one could be Michonne however Michonne's story during the timeskip has already been told by TellTale and I also think they would want to bring in a different character this time.
Siddiq is another character and he was traveling around and was even the one to inform Rick of the Oceanside community. However again he was also in the Michonne game and I think TellTale would want to put in some different characters.
Another possibility are the people Eugene is talking to over the radio with (the particular person he is talking to is named Stephanie). This to me is the most likely scenario at this point (we also have had confirmation that Clementine and Javier will be in the Virginia area for Season 3 so it likely would make sense on a location perspective to run into them as well).
What do you guys think?

The only person I can think of is Negan but even thats a stretch. Other characters that have a bigger chance of returning are probably Molly. Then Jane or Kenny if you saved one in your playthrough.
i dont think comic characters r gonna appear at all. didnt kirkman force telltale to write out lilly because he didnt want comic characters in game?
Job said in numerous interviews that we will see comic characters in season 3.
I feel like Michonne is the most likely.
He changed Lilly's backstory. Gave her an entire set of novels instead of just appearing in a couple episodes in season 1. However they have said that season 3 will be tied much closer to the comic than season 2 was and gave hints that we could indeed be seeing characters from the comic.
I think it could explain the aparition of communities characters that came up from nowhere, like Laura or this whole Oceanside thing. Also, this could explain why Telltale made the Michonne MiniSeries in the first place (I never understood why to make this game): they are introducing some main characters (like Paige, or Pete, or Sam... so she can later maybe hook up with Javier... just saying... #SamxJavi4S3) to the player so we could sympatize better with them later in S3.
I'm 87% sure Oceanside will play an important role in S3.
Also, they could easily present a character than later will become important in the comics.
Stephanie, hopefully.
Yeah I am beginning to think the series might end with Clem making Oceanside a home. TellTale has already dropped some of their characters from the Michonne series off there. It's a good way to connect to the comic series without really being a part of it at all. If the group from Alexandria ever goes to Oceanside Clem and the characters from the Michonne game could just be background characters in a particular scene and it would be a nice easter egg for those that played the TellTale series.
While that would be awesome, I'm pretty sure he's still locked up during this time.
No one, hopefully.
A Telltale staff member recently said that Season Three is at a point where people are settling down instead of just surviving, or something along those lines, didn't they?
This makes me think that more than one community will simultaneously appear during the course of the season. Capricorn Farms is all but confirmed at this point, and I believe that either Stephanie's community aka Magna's nursery home or Oceanside will be key. The latter would be especially exciting, since we would possibly come across an older Paige, Alex and James, and Samantha too for those who have her alive.
Nooooooo double post again
The image wouldn't even load for me, haha

Negan is either locked up or with Alpha at this point. I promise you that isn't him. Cool find, though.
I did't find it, someone else did.
Giving someone else credit? Noice, I admire that.
You're alright, Raven.
So, uh… I just see a black square.
I made it lol.
It's cool, but it sadly won't happen. Sucks cause I fucking love Negan.
Whoever it is, I hope it's not biatch face lilly
Hmm, I wonder why its giving some people problems considering I used IMGUR.
Let me change the URL. Can you see it now? It might be blurry now, though.
Molly is probably dead. She's too much like Jane.
They'd only add her if they got really desperate for fans to stay interested or something.
What's wrong with Lilly!
She killed bae Carley
This is an interesting find!
However—we all hate linkers of contrast—Negan is in a jail cell at this time in the comics, so I would say that his chances of making an appearance on Season Three are close to none.
Edited section
Whoops! @TheSloaningDead already pointed out.
Carley provoked a paranoid, grieving person with a gun.
How did she not see it coming.
I know lol its mostly just me holding onto a speck of hope since I love Negans character.
I have a nickname...
omg I have a frikin nickname...
my life is complete.
Hell yeah, bud.
Carley? That bitch that threw herself to Lee and tried to make him confess about his past as CONVICTED MURDERER, probably to make the group kick him out so the bandits could take over more easily, and was a bitch to a woman whose only family (who, btw, was an abusive father), and had to force herself to ignore all those feeling to lead the group, having to see EVERYDAY her father's murderer's face with no regret in his eyes, being misundertood by the people around her that felt nothing for her but fear of her paranoia, and constantly bullied by the CarLee fans who seem to forget that a lot of other characters (like Kenny, for example) did things a lot worse, more times, didn't show regret, and still have fans?
Wow, I said it all in only one pharagrap. In only one sentence!
(the part in italic wasn't serious... but everything else is!)
The reason her father got killed was because he could've became a zombie
Hell I don't even like Kenny but I want to know what did Kenny do as bad as Lilly did which was 1.kill Carley/doug, 2.abandon the group while taking the RV with her.
His head looks a little too flat to be Negan's.
That is true, and I personally don't blame Kenny for manslaughtering or preventing Larry's reanimation, but just because the killing is understandable and could've been justified doesn't mean that Lilly is not grieving anymore. Her father was still brutally killed in front of her.
…after she accused her of never helping the group—when Lilly had kept a position of leadership alongside Kenny, handled the food rationing, kept a look-out around the perimenter, taught the adults how to use firearms, discovered that a member of the group was taking supplies and told this to the truth about this to the rest of the group.
This one was completely accidental.
At that point, she was being kept as a prisoner. Being honest here, it didn't appear to me that the group were going to be taking her with them when the train worked. She was not part of the group anymore, for better or worse, and not because she decided to. She was not even sure whether they were going to kill her before parting ways. Can you really blame her for taking the mobile home and driving away?
By the way, welcome back to the forums! I remember reading some of your posts before I created an account.
Edit explanation: stupid typo.
Lilly did have a lot going on I'll admit. I just didn't agree with her killing Carley and robbing the group of their transportation and goods.
In my playthrough, after she shot Carley, I made lee forgive her and what made me mad was that she STILL left. No matter what choice.
And thank you! It's been around a year since I've been gone lol
Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't, but Lilly was sure she could save him. I don't blame her for trying to protect the only person she had.
What pisses me off isn't that Kenny killed Larry, was or it wasn't nessesary, it is that, after doing this, he didn't show regret, empathy, he didn't apoligize, he was even MAD at Lilly for trying to protect her family. He was proud of killing Larry (to his eyes, he saved his people). I don't hate Kenny, but he wasn't better than Lilly.
Besides, Lilly would never beat a kid almost to death. She wouldn't blame Clementine for the death of a loved one, or get into stupid arguments.
About the Kenny situation... Didn't earlier in the game Larry told everyone to kill Duck? Because he though he had gotten bitten?
As I said before, I understand Lilly went through some things, but by that same logic just because something bad happened to me I get a pass for murder?
To me Kenny and Lilly are basically on the same level now. Both seem mentally unstable.
I find it understandable to be angry at Lilly because of what she did. I just don't find it fair to dislike her solely based on what she did while under grief, paranoia and provocation.
I don't find it fair to dislike anybody only for what they do under an extraordinary situation within the game. In other words, when they are out of their minds.
Okay, these ones were the posts that I was talking about. I wouldn't say that they left the best taste on my mouth, but oh, well.
Well, that mightn't be true. Arvo and his pals had literally nearly killed everyone in the group at the time, and I think it's quite known that the reason Kenny was beating on him, was done out of pure anger for what might have happened to AJ, Clem and the others. It's also known that Lilly, herself, has issues with anger and that she's certainty capable of hurting someone, so I do believe she would have treated Arvo similarly or might have just killed him.
In fairness, Kenny was grieving and he did regret his actions later once he realised he was wrong. I mean to criticise Kenny for blaming Clem, which I'm not denying wasn't right, in a time he was devastated after loosing his girlfriend, isn't fair when you've been so sympathetic towards Lilly during her unstable moment.
That's not really true, considering Lilly did get into arguments with Kenny about the group's direction.
