Am i the only one that doesn't want comic connections to S3?
Anyone else just want Season 3 with all original characters and have no comic book connections? I can probably accept small cameos but i'd rather the game stay separate

I think im alright with it, TWD comic is my religion so as long as they do the characters right I dont see why not.
Glenn, Michonne and Hershel were well done for thier counter parts. Why not combine 2 of my favourite things!
TWD comic & telltale
I'm with you. I want there to be the comics and the game. Two different things that never converge.
I don't mind some comic crossovers but i don't want it to be a huge part of the game or a big plot point, if we do see comic characters i would prefer it to be smaller side characters rather than main ones like Rick.
The new people from the Kingdom!
I agree with you. I'd much prefer if both were kept separate, to be honest. Whilst I don't mind maybe a small cameo here and there from the comic characters, I'd still much rather if the plots didn't intertwine together or something of that sort. I've liked it the way it is currently.
At the very most I worry. It could restrict TT in making the story. We don't have solid info on what is or isn't going to be appearing from the comics, but whatever it is TT has to make sure it falls in line perfectly. Stuff like plot armor or a bull shit choice like we've seen in GOT and Michonne. I just want TT to be free to make whatever they want to have the biggest impact.
Agreed
It worked pretty much perfectly when they did it with Glenn and the Greenes, but not so much with Lilly (because she left and then was retconned) and Michonne (although only in that it made her technically invincible/immortal).
I don't read the comics, so I welcome their re-integration as long as it supports the game instead of hampering it. Or at the very least, I'd like some connection with the mini-series.
Me too. It'd be really cheesy.
It'd probably be used as an excuse to not make original characters from scratch and developing unique storylines.
If they do, I'd prefer it to be pretty minimal like in Season 1. I feel like the comic and the game should be their own separate entities.
Just like @ralo229 said, it should happen minimally, like in season 1.
I want it. I hope Rick and Carl appear in this season and Robert Kirkman to write an episode.
No, Telltale needs to worry about their own characters.
I totally agree, comic characters are just an annoyance in the games and episodes
Actually, I'm gonna agree with this.
I'm fine with comic connections, although I'd prefer more subtle ones. Cameo appearances like Hershel/Glenn would be fine as well. And if they're going to involve a comic character more heavily in the story, I'd prefer them to use less important characters, kind of like how they used Pete and Siddiq in the Michonne miniseries; both of those characters are basically background characters in the comic, and were expanded upon in the miniseries. Well, mainly Pete, but still.
yeah.. I don't want to either. its annoying because I won't be able to finish and catch up to the latest comics by the time season 3 premier, so I hate it.
But it wasn't the same Lilly as the one from the comics?
Neither do I.
Hence the word "retconned"
No, she wasn't.
