What are you looking forward to most in Season 3?

I'm so excited to see Clementine again, and find out what happened to her between Season 2 and Season 3!

  • I'm excited to see how my Clem's personality is, how she has changed, how she could lose the finger, how she's been since Season 2, what Kenny and Jane look like(Kenny's facial hair? Eyepatch or his eye hanging out? Baseball hat?), where Kenny/Jane are, how Kenny/Jane are/were doing, how everything is going with AJ, what Javier is like, Javier and Clem's relationship, who the antagonists are, the relationships the antagonists have with Clem, if the antagonists are cultists, if the antagonists are slave holders, if AJ gets Kenny's hat in the Kenny ending, if Clem grows facial hair if she goes with Kenny, and what Clementine's voice sounds like.

Basically, I am excited for EVERYTHING

  • For me Clem and Kenny. I gotta know what adventure they've been on

  • I feel the same way! They are my favorite characters after Lee! I went with Kenny in the end! I can't wait to see what they have done!

I just highly doubt Telltale is going to take 2 characters who are popular and controversial, have 2 years to make season 3, and just go "lol, they died"

Yeah they died, but they still expanded their stories before they died and made them somewhat important characters instead of just killing them off.

I think they probably will do that to Kenny and Jane, just because of the fact that if you chose let's say Kenny your story would turn out a whole lot different from someone who went alone or went with Jane. You can't have everyone starting off playing basically a different game because of their previous choices.

maybe they'll find a way around this, either way Kenny and Jane will die/become unknown, just don't expect either to be a very big part of s3.

You can't have everyone starting off playing basically a different game because of their previous choices.

As a super unlikely defense, they basically did that with the second episode of Minecraft: Story Mode

It's a short episode that clocks in at under an hour for most people, but half if not more of the episode is entirely different based on a choice made in episode 1. You go to two entirely different locations, each with their own unique music themes and overall tone, meeting entirely different characters, with a different supporting character by your side, with two stark contrasts in terms of interactivity (one area is an action-oriented one, while the other is a laid back, hub-like one that focuses more on puzzle-solving). It is pretty much the most choice-tailored episode they've ever done. The final episode of the GoT series is pretty good too when it comes to choice-tailoring, namely considering two certain somebodies.

I doubt they'll do the same thing with S3, but they've more or less shown that they could do it if they really wanted to.

I think what's more likely is that the story of whatever happened after S2's endings will be shown in flashbacks throughout the episode, or something to that extent. It could work, and is a rather clever way of involving the ending choices in S3, without interfering with S3's story. That way, they could have Kenny and Jane appear in S3, without them actually appearing, you know what I mean?

  • Choices That Matter

  • I'm actually, surprisingly, interested in finding out more about Javier's character and what direction Telltale have decided to go with him. Naturally, I'm also quite interested to know whether Kenny/Jane will make an appearance in the game, and if so, what role they may or may not play.

  • I'm interested in the story the most, I wanna know what happens next, will we see some familiar characters and stuff.

  • edited August 2016

Seeing Clementine, finding out more about Javier and what he's all about.

And I REALLY wanna know what the deal with the branding and shit is. I hope it's a faction that's lost it's marbles. Love those.

I'm excited for Javier and what Telltale's going to do with him, of course I'm interested in our Clem, how she'll sound and act etc. I'm also curious about their relationship, are they gonna be more like brother/sister, friends or just partners?

Oh and I want to see Clem swear more :D

  • Sadly, nothing. I though Clementine had a satisfying end at the end of season 2. I don't want to continue her story for a few reasons.
1/ Kenny or Jane are already dead. With them being determinant characters last season, they're done for.
2/ How many shitty situations can Clem be put through. Can't she just find a camp and settle?
3/ she's still a young female in the ZA. 'Realistically' how much more can she do or take? If this was reality and she was on her own, she'd be dead or having her brains raped out by now
4/ If Kenny is dead. Clem will be the only original character left. To have this game carry the emotional weight that seasons 1 and 2 did,my here's no way she can survive. I predict a carbon copy of Lees death for Clem.

If they had to make a new season, I really do wish it'd been with an all new cast...me still, I'll play, and hope I'm wrong

I only want more scenes like these:

(go to 17:30 for the last one)

(edit: ok I'm too lazy to change the last video for a better one without a 30-years-old friki talking all the time but I swear next time I'll check the gameplay has no commentary)

Die, little children, I want to see you bleed.

  • The way that the back and forth that takes place in the entirety of Tales from the Borderlands makes me think that they'll do a great job.

  • The possibility of Kenny being in the game.
A long term rival for Clementine that is close to age (This is what Becca from 400 days should have been)
New characters stepping up to make the game entertaining.

  • I'm looking forward to:

    • Characters dying by plausible means...ಠ_ಠ
    • How Clementine's character has grown since we last saw her, and basically her kicking some ass.
    • How Clementine will soooound.
    • If we'll see any of the old cast like Lilly or Christa. Also if Jane and Kenny are optionally alive, what that change will bring, and if they'll, you know, stay alive.
    • Who these brandit assholes are, and why they're branding people like total assholes o.o got the theories in my head going crazy here.
    • Just from a graphical standpoint how the game's visuals will look. The walker's hair animation got me excited. I want to know what shampoo he's using. Also Batman's animations have been a lot smoother when they switch from different animations, so I'm excited to see if Season 3 is the same.
    • On if Frank makes a cameo. I complained about before, but I kinda like Frank and his wife Debra; they've grown on me.
    • Whether or not the hubs will have improved a widdle bit. I downloaded Michonne recently and started playing that and I liked what they did there compared to Season 2, even though there's not many that I remember, but there was still stuff to look at.
    • Absolutely not excited about anything Javier brings to the game.
    • Or the fact he might have siblings.
    • Or that Job said Clementine and Javier's dynamic is something special.
    • Or that they'll be together for a large section of the game and become friends.
    • I'm n-not excited about any of that!
    1. How our endings in S2 come into play
    2. What happens to Jane and Kenny
    3. How Clementine loses her finger
    4. Who the antogonists are
    5. Choices mattering and impacting the story
    6. Clementine actually having some personality
    7. Dark stuff
  • I'm looking foward to how well the Telltale engine performs on this game. It's either hit or miss now. Also and most importantly my Clementine. Can't wait to see how much she's grown. Plus I wonder how they're going to portray the state of the world around Clem. By that I mean, the amount of zombies should be on the decline by now, I think.

This is edited. This is a looking forward to, not hoping.

And you can just see his wife on the right there. They're everywhere, more so Frank.

It's like that scene in the last Matrix film. You die, man, women or child, you all turn into Frank.

  • What Kenny and Clem have been up to since season 2

  • To be blunt. the day the last ep of it comes out and I've played it! Then I have my answers be they good or terrible!

  • Same.

What Kenny and Clem have been up to since season 2

  • How about a bug-free game? That is not too much to ask for, is it?

  • I just don't want to see Jane and yes even Kenny get the, Omid's treatment...if they are to die, then make it mean SOMETHING to the plot.

Clementine, I need more badassery in my life. Javier, hopefully he is a compelling character. Villains that I will absolutely love to hate.

Telltale forgets about AJ, we never see him again.
Clem being normal teenager, not zombie killing machine.
Her friend does not resemble Zack Efron.

  • I'm interested in finding out what happened to Jane since I ended up with her in the ending I will be using for Season 3. Although I will be surprised if she doesn't die in the first episode or is already dead by the time we catch up with Clementine. I also hope we find out what happened to Christa, Lilly, and (determinately) Bonnie!!! I'm intrigued in general though, because it looks like Clementine is with a new group and in a city. Check out the promotional poster.

  • Who were they?? Did someone come up with affectionate nicknames for teleporting walkers???
