oh sorry guys i meant to say start coming out my bad
I've never played any games as they each came out, but that's what I'll be doing. I want to be able to theorize with this community as each episode releases. I really enjoy reading other people's thoughts and interpretations, so that'll be cool to do as each episode comes out. I feel like the hype will build more if you have a wait between each episode instead of wait for the whole thing. If you play them right away, you also will avoid spoilers.
The downsides to playing episodes as they release are the slightly higher prices, the bugs, and the long waits. Pick your poison, I guess.
I waited until Season 2 came out on disc collection and avoided any specific spoilers as much as I could. I doubt I'll even get Season 3, so who knows what's for the best.
yeah thats also what I was thinking, I just hope that the wait isn't that long between each episode like with previous installments. so I wont have to play the previous episode again just to understand what happend.
yeah its definitely hard to avoid spoilers if you go that route.
How long does it take Telltale to release an episode? I bought both previous seasons in their entirety.
I wish i knew I think it'll be one month versus when they use to do two months but thats just a guess
Yeah, I usually just wait until it's released in full on disc.
its really hard for me to wait and plus to avoid sopoliers
From my experience so far it took between a month to even 2 months. But I saw they improved recently timewise so it may take approximately only one month.
I Really hope they do one month releases
In my unpopular opinion, I preferred the two month wait as opposed to the monthly wait. Predictions, theories and discussions appear to flourish to a higher degree when the meantime is longer!
yeah i guess thats true
Personally I'd buy it once episode 1 releases. It's fun to guess what's gonna happen next with people. Also it avoids spoilers. For example I feel like people who waited to buy season 2 were already spoiled that Kenny was back.
I was introduced to Season One after the game was finished. I decided to follow Season Two as it came out (starting with 400 Days). For Michonne, I pretty much only watched playthroughs. Since Telltale's more recent fare has been considered lackluster, I would suggest you wait at least until episode 2 is released and decide after watching it whether you'd prefer to get the game as it develops or wait until the end of the season.

I'm doing the same. I've done so with just about every newer TellTale title. And your right, trying to guess what's next is great. Even though I've rarely been correct,It's always a blast here!
Solid advice, but sometimes choices are there at the begining and removed later(spoilers ahead for TWD S2) Like the truck scene where Arvo shoots Clem, at one time you could have Clem shoot Mike which almost validates Arvo's ichy trigger finger gives it much needed layers. Luckly someone put it on youtube. That's a pretty big moment that many missed. Unlike movies you don't get a directors cut here. Most of the time you have to be one of the first to see these moments that get edited out later. With Kirkman directly envolved,we may get more of these moments than ever. Just a thought.
