Poor Optimization or Low Specs? The Walking Dead: Season Two for PC

So. I have just bought The Walking Dead Season Two off of Steam for PC, and I had specs above the minimal, and recommended specs, but I am still getting a poor FPS, 20-60 on low 720p, that may not sound that bad, but when more than one character on the screen, for example, when you Clem first finds the whole group, I got around 23-37 FPS, but with 1024X768 low non fullscreen, I got 49-60, so I don't understand. On the 1st season, I got 46-60 on low 720p.

    Interesting...

I have Intel Graphic 1.7 GHz
    3 GB RAM
    1.8 GB Video Intel Graphic
And game almost perfect at my laptop.

    I only play without Vsync.

  • Hm. I'm not sure. Its fine and playable just it doesn't feel like the game is a legit sequel, like when I played Season 1, I was hoping to be able to play season 2 at 720p, not 1024X768, non full screen it doesn't feel like i'm playing a Walking Dead game. But I don't know. I mean 40 and 30 fps is playable, but the game feels weird at anything that isn't 60.

  • But I thought The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 where low spec games.... I checked on Game Debate and System Requirements Lab.. They said I could play Medium to high settings, 720p.

  • Just a update, I contacted TellTale last night, still no response... I decided to continue in the game, and I also found out that turning between high and low graphics added like 1 or 2 fps, so i'm on high; but like i was saying, the scene where Clem gets of the shed, I got 29-42 fps It was probably the rain that was killing the fps. Also going between 1280X720 and 1366X768 didn't have too much of a difference, about 3 or 4 fps, so I stayed with 720p, just to be sure.

  • I'm pretty sure that where the system requirements are it says that it's not recommended to play with an integrated GPU

  • Yeah, I see it but it says Intel integrated but I have AMD. Is there any difference?
