YAY!
...Who's the group from Ohio?
Do you read the comic?
That'd be a no. Don't watch the show either.
This interview was a long time ago how come we are just seeing it now?
Happens sometimes. The interview host sometimes delays posting the video until some time later for whatever reason.
Actually, I mean the video went public over a month ago. There are people who commented on it a month ago but it's like we just found out about its existence now.
Oh, ok. That's what I get for commenting on something I didn't care about.
Currently in the comic Eugene is talking to a person on the radio named Stephanie and she in the latest issue she just revealed that she is in Ohio. Wellington in the TellTale games is located in Ohio and the games are set in the comic universe.
Wouldn't necessarily say that something that just came out a month ago would be considered old. If you havn't noticed this isn't the most organized forum and it can be difficult to go searching for things. Easier to just post a new message about it rather than spend an hour trying to hunt down an old thread not even knowing if it even exists. If you don't like multiple topics Dont_Look_Back you are free to hunt down that thread and link to it.
Ah, sounds interesting.
Too bad I have no idea who those people are nor do I care at the moment.
Reading the comic does add a lot more to the universe for those who play the game (just like playing the game adds a lot more to the universe for those that read the comic).
You not much of a comic reader?
No, I read comics(Archie) but I just never got to into buying any until I three years ago. The Walking Dead was just one of those things were I saw the game get advertised, saw references to Clementine and Lee everywhere, view some "fanart," and finally got into it with the SuperGamingBros Let's Play. So, the games was easier to follow considering there's not much continuity to track down. I don't watch the TV show for a few(couldn't think of a fancy word) reasons.
I recommend you watch the show DabigRG. At least the first 4 seasons in my opinion
LUL.
[Comments at something that he doesn't care]
[He keeps posting]
[He complaints about getting a few responses]
[He says again that he doesn't care]
¯_(ツ)_/¯
EDIT: Take this a joke oke? ツ
For fans of horror the show is pretty good. However for those that aren't much into horror then I don't blame them for choosing not to watch it. There is a big difference between the gore shown in the show and the gore in the game.
I do think anybody who enjoys the game should definitely check the comic out though as it's hard to get scared of a bunch of drawings on paper. Like Dabig alluded to though it would be quite a task to take up the comic at this point since it has been going on for over a 150 issues now. I enjoy long detailed stories but not everyone does.
This actually does make me wonder what Kirkman really thinks about the characters from the games...I mean does he even like them? As the creator...it would be easy to be dismissive of characters that he did not create.
I think Kirkman thinks highly of the work TellTale does. He allowed TellTale to tell the story of what Michonne was doing during her time away from Alexandria after all. Of course he is going to be more attached to the characters he created than say he is of Clementine but I think the Michonne game and the hints that Stephanie might infact be from Wellington indicates Kirkman and TellTale are working closer together now than they were in the first two seasons.
Again we will have to see if Stephanie does end up being from Wellington but at this point it would be a pretty good bet that she is.
i watch the tv show for the story/characters and their relationships and the way in which they work together to survive much like in the game. I don't care much for the gore or even the zombies to be fair. I do enjoy the game more though. It just seems much better but love both game and show
It's called the Mandela Effect.
Just wondering why they went to Ohio....I love Ohio...I keep my stuff here...but New England has colder winters.
Oh I'm not complaining. I'm just upset that I haven't seen it as I have been very consistent with these interviews and I hate missing them or even seeing one late. A month doesn't seem much but me, personally, I want to see than as soon as possible. I don't log onto these forums all the time for nothing.
That's another reason. Its one thing watching a old man get his face caved in with a saltlick in the game(which was still terrifying) than seeing it happen on the show.
Oke!
The first comment was just answering a question in which I had a similar experience.
Why, are they thieves or sumthin?
As far as why the game went to Ohio or why Kirkman chose to have Stephanie be from Ohio? As far as the game they probably just wanted to have the characters being on a journey to some distant landmark and they could wrap a story around that journey and choosing Ohio was as good any any other location. As far as the comic Kirkman likely always planned to have them meet another far off community eventually and since TellTale already established a community in Ohio might as well link it up with that area as well.
Edit:
shhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttt
No, I was joking that you sounded like you didn't want them to come to Ohio.
I don't watch the TV show.
You have some serious trouble, RavenSnowstorm.
Nah. Not Ohio. It's "Ohayou". Japanese.
...Wait when was this confirmed? How did this happen?
DUN DUN DUNNN!
If this comment had been duplicated it would've been pure gold.
Ok another thing...there is a lot of road between Virginia and Wellington Ohio....plus a River and some small cities...not walking distance.
Uh?
Uh?
Double post!
Lol
