A frontier is kind of like the wild lands of a place, near the border. The best example is the American frontier, basically everything west of the Mississippi River before it was "tamed", all wild and such. Something new, unexplored, wild.
So, from what they've said about rediscovering society and rules, and law, etc. We might bump into another or other group(s) during the season. Or, they get in trouble with some group and are forced on the run/chasing after a group? Ahh! Who knows, we'll get details later in the fall. Fun, teasing panel though.

A Dead Telltale: The Walking Frontier - The New Series
Additional commentary
Sorry. RIP your feed for all my edits.
Lol, so many salty comments. I don't know what you guys expected, most Telltale panels are like that. It's better to set your expectations low, so if they do indeed reveal something new, you'll be twice as much hyped.
Cry babies. Why do you want more information? Whats the point in playing if you know everything going in? Playing it as blind as possible is going to make the story that much more important and investing for you. We got a release month, a title, confirmation of platform saves being honored, and talk about where the world is now with the social hierarchy so to speak. It's more than enough when you have two Batman episodes in between and a buttload of other games to keep you going. Go play Life is Strange, that'll give you your fix.
Because it's a Telltale series. They're a household name now. This is their flagship series, when you see that name, you know you're in for something good.

On that note, how about poor GoT getting put on the sidelines during that panel
All the jokes about S2 this, S2 that, and GoT is just sitting over there like "hey guys what about me-- oh, okay... t-that's fine..."
Alright i cant take anymore im going to bed this is all too much im disappointing but im also....happy?! I think im actually excited!!!
Night night lovelies ^,^
'a new frontier' sounds like a cliche' action movie/game sequel title.
let's experiment:
Transformers: A New Frontier
Die Hard 33: … moreA New Frontier
Halo: A New Frontier
Justice League: The New Frontier (oh wait this actually exists)
The Expendables 4: A New Frontier
clearly i'm just kidding, comment more if you want.
On second thought the name does not sound great, but hey can't wait for the first episode, I hope that, "The Walking Dead - The Telltale Series: A New Frontier - Season Three - A Telltale Game Series - Episode One: Amid The Ruins 2" will be as good as Season One

Who said that
Exceptional ideas surface in times of crises.
[whisper] capricorn farms…
Yeah or gta v as this game is an open world with the mystery of Mt chiliad
deep and hard ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
i'm sorry
Some people here wants the title be the same like season 3 they think putting a title to the third one will change the whole game
Crips, you messed up…
Can't wait for Season 3!
I would have went with The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series: Season 3: A New Frontier; Ft. Clemmie-Cloo and Lil Javito.
But that's just me.
Honestly, it sounds better that way.
Calling it The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier puts more emphasis on it being a Telltale series than it does the name.
"The Walking Dead: I'm Gared Tuttle"
[whisper] most likely.
Yeah feels it's going to be very interesting as the panel today revealed some interesting things about the game
On that note, how about poor GoT getting put on the sidelines during that panel

Season Three was cancelled, sadly.
So you think changing the title will go boom the story changed
Are there any news at all on Game Of Thrones: Season Two?
It was a joke.
Alright i cant take anymore im going to bed this is all too much im disappointing but im also....happy?! I think im actually excited!!!

Guy in audience: Any news on Game Of Thrones?
Telltale: Gramophones? What are you talking about?
I like it.
Told you our choices wouldn't matter outside of dialogue.

Judging everything before look into it it's a blind judgement
