My wife's friend told her that she couldn't watch this show because Travis looks like Snuffleufugus from Sesame Street. She was totally right now its all I can see.
Anyone else want to share their thoughts on the opening? All i will say is that what happened at the start of this episode made me think of the meat locker scene and how i felt in my opinion that my decision was inevitably the right one. That is exactly what i would have feared could have happened to me had i tried to revive Larry. It just isn't worth the risk giving mouth to mouth and chest compressions if there was that chance he'd turn, grab me and rip my face off.
Just thought it was very interesting that there was a scene like this in that episode! Happy evening all.
I kind of watch mainly for the stunning Alycia Debnam Carey to be honest but i do think the show is ok. It's quite slow and i'm not a huge fan of all of the characters. Chris is certainly slowly becoming the Shane of the series which i think is interesting as his character brings drama to the series for that reason. This season is far better than the first.
I liked this episode a lot!
I hope that hotel keeper (didn't really catch her name) sticks around. She seems like an interesting enough c… moreharacter.
Madison is alive : D. No idea how they got out of that one, but yay!
Where the hell is Ofelia?
Ghhhh, I hope Brandon and his group aren't stupid enough to kill all the chickens...
Chris, please, take a chill pill.
It'd also be nice to have the bride's mom group as some kind of antagonists? I dunno.
I looove Fear.
I keep calling Alicia 'Lexa' for some reason. I guess I'm still thinking about the actress' portrayal of Lexa in the series 'The 100'. Alycia is very talented.
I personally really like Fear even more than the original show. I'm interested and invested in every single character. Everyone seems to think otherwise and I guess I can understand that. The plan 'Cobalt' back in Season 1 was bullshit and a huge plothole, I won't deny it, but I still enjoyed the first season for its amazing characters. I like that the main characters aren't just some two dimensional heroes that did nothing wrong. They all have a dark side to them. Madison, Chris, Nick, Daniel they all did something damnable and that makes them interesting to me. I also appreciate that the show is bringing something new (like inner conflicts in the group, sacrifices in the apocalypse, drug adiction in the apocalypse, how the government tried to control the situation...) to the table instead of just 'Rick and his group are having a war with these dudes' 'Now Rick and his group are having a war with this other dudes!', because that just feels boring to me.
I was never a big fan of the main TV Show nor the comics. I watch and read them, sure, but they never got me as captivated as Fear does. The characters just... don't stick with me. Can't really explain it.

That's cool man i can totally get behind that. It's interesting how they are all split up and wonder how they will seemingly find each other again. You know what i find interesting as well? Kind of silly but i always like the thought of the fact that during the events we see currently in Fear The Walking Dead, Rick is still in a coma, guys like Dale, Andrea, The Governor, even T-Dog are all still alive haha. I find the timeline fascinating in comparison

I really enjoyed the opening. I was watching this scene with family, and I kept screaming about having "Larry flashbacks".
Just in those few moments, it almost brought me back to that feeling of panic and horror that I experienced in that fictional meatlocker. When the bride got attacked, I was thinking about how that could've been Lily. The meat locker already emotionally scarred me, but it could have gone so much worse. Just imagining if Larry would've came back...I probably should have been contemplating the show instead of a mainly unrelated game, but oh well.
I also liked what we saw of Elana in the opening. Her shutting the people in was very dark, which is exactly what I like to see. I mean I didn't like to see that, and I found the whole wedding to be utterly depressing. I just could see a lot of real life people doing that, which makes her seem more real. Some people wouldn't have done that, but the intense panic and fear could cause even the best to do something that dark. I'm interested in seeing where her character will go.

Damn, I was thinking the same. The father obviously had some kind of cardiac episode, turned, in record time, then ate the daughter's face. The same could've happened to Larry and Lilly.
Seeing this type of event so early into the turn, really makes you think that kind of thing happened a lot. It also gives some depth to the Jenny Pitcher story.

Exactly what i was saying. That opening scene really gives you the insight as to what could have happened in the meat locker. It was extremely similar, i'm glad they showed that scene

I was in on a car ride when the episode was airing, and by the time I arrived home the episode was more than halfway done I didn't get to watch it until like 5 minutes ago.
I can't say I'm surprised by the opening, but those kind of scenes also are quite suspenseful so it's alright. Kind of ironic but I had just read maybe 20 minutes before I watched the episode an article about a father dying a few minutes after he danced with his daughter at her wedding due to a heart attack, so that was kind of eerie.
It's not the same but it is very similar except this shows some
insight to the meat locker scene. That could have been Lilly or Lee that got bitten in the face if Larry had reanimated like the guy from the Fear episode, it could have happened if Kenny hadn't done what he did.
Sick episode. The opening had me scratching my head, until it gave me chills. Travis has a huge problem on his hands. Chris is on the complete opposite side of Travis. Travis is a really good person, and his son is a psycho(imo). This makes for a really good storyline. How far is Travis willing to go to save his son? Is Chris going to have to look at the flowers? I am very interested to find out.

That was one intense opening!
(?) BetterToSleep suspects about InGen's absence.
I was waiting and waiting
but this will be my most popular thread I'm sure
Honestly, it's so confusing that Nick and Chris look so much alike but aren't siblings. Alicia looks nothing like Nick.
Water you doing Chris? Water you doing?
When did she get a butterfly knife??
Travis is sensible for once!
Is it weird i like brandon and friends better than travis/chris?
not so far at least
Not at all, I do too.

I'm gonna assume this is the tv show and move on.

this was best episode yet. something tell me travis will have to put his son down same way clementine had to put kenny down. he is really not stable.
great opening, but its not the same. kenny killed larry. elena just locked these ppl up to fight on their own. she didnt kill anybody.

I actually think it will be darker than that. I think Chris is turning into another Shane. He'll kill his dad. That's what I think.

That's cause she locked them in. IF Elena was locked in she would have killed them both "she had the safety of the hotel to consider"

how is this even possible.
No Nick this week
Not this again.
This show but good! I really hated the first season, and than around Episode 4 of Season 2, I really started liking it. This episode was fantastic.
