Would THIS change your decision? (Season 2 | Ep 5)
What if it were Jane, who died back at the lake instead of Luke, and at the end of the episode, Luke and Kenny fought each other.
Those who saved Jane, would you change your mind and wish to save Kenny instead, now that Luke would be the only other survivor?
Those who kept Kenny alive, would you change your mind and wish to save Luke? (if it were Kenny and Luke fighting).
Would THIS change your decision?

I think I'd still choose Kenny, but I think I would actually feel bad in doing so. Luke's a cool guy. I think I might've made a alternate save with Luke instead of Kenny.
First! No if The Luke ending is just head back to Howes and stay there. Why would anyone do that? Onward is the only choice if Luke would go to Wellington then the answer is ..maybe.
second:( laggy TWC ROUTER
I would continue to shoot Kenny, albeit reluctantly, since my main motivation for saving Jane in "No Going Back" was that she is fit for taking care of Clementine and AJ, and Luke is arguably less capable than Kenny when it comes to everyday survival.
I would still save Ken. I like Luke and I did like Jane. Still, I couldn't bring myself to shoot Kenny before, and having Luke be Kenny's opponent wouldn't change a thing. I'd also still feel like crap and all those other wonderful feelings this game gives me.
There's not really much evidence to support this. Kenny's the one who makes ridiculous impulsive decisions over and over and over again, vs. Luke, who made one. Imo Clem would be much safer with Luke than with off-his-rocker Kenny.
I'd still save Kenny. I'd feel like shit for letting Kenny kill Luke (Which I didn't feel for Jane.)
I coincide with this view completely, sialark.
I was referring strictly to survival abilities and nothing more—Kenny has been shown to scavenge successfully in towns, and he is capable around rifles, not to mention that he knows how to fish and repair vehicles.
Yeah, kind of.
Instead of being mildly motivated to shoot Kenny, I'd be extremely motivated to shoot Kenny!
There's that.
My thoughts exactly.
I'd save Luke, at the end of the day, my Clementine saved the person who had done the least amount of damage and the most amount of good.
I'd most likely choose Luke, though some of that is biased by what we got. And what we got means that Kenny, as much as don't want to have to say it, kinda needed to go at that point considering his grief and already easy emotions were getting out of hand and he was clearly suffering.
Honestly, context might help make the choice harder. Might.
I'd still choose Kenny, but man i'll feel so bad for letting Luke die. Come to think of it Luke would never hide AJ to make Kenny mad, I wonder what they'll fight over.
I would shoot Kenny.
I mean, on my first playthrough I shot Kenny, just on the principle that I didn't want him to murder anyone, even if it was Jane. Second playthrough I let him kill Jane strictly for narrative purposes, because I was not particularly emotionally attached to Jane and could tolerate her dying for a subjectively better ending.
If Luke was in her place I would have way too much of an emotional attachment to Luke to let Kenny kill him only to get the Wellington ending. That also brings up the question of how would they get into this fight though. I could never see Luke doing what Jane had done with AJ.
Grap luke mashati and take off kenny's head And use it to play football with luke
OF COURSE I WILL SHOOT KENNY!!!!!!
still Team Kenny but if i had had to choose Jane or Luke then I would choose Luke
Since I saved Jane, no, it would not not change my decision. The only person who could motivate me to let Kenny murder them over an assumption already died by his hand: William Carver. Kenny's behaviour and state of mind were the problem and the reason I shot him.
It's hard to tell because this fight looks out of character for Luke.
that's dumb, Clem can take of herself
EDIT: and i am in no way a Clem fanboy either lol
I don't see how this fight could be set up, considering Luke was never that guy to "rock the boat" and it was originally Jane who started the whole dilemma. Since she's dead in this hypothetical scenerio and he never really got the chance to voice where he wanted to go, the fight probably wouldn't happen. I'm pointing this all out, because the context of the fight is important. Why would they fight? It would definitely affect my decision, like if Kenny had gone crazy over something.
Other than all that, I would pick Luke. I liked him more than Kenny or any other character.
I dont see why it would under the same circumstances.
It'd be a far more difficult decision for me compared to the Kenny vs Jane fight, as while, I've criticised Luke's character for not having many layers to him, he was still likable and was one of the few pure morally right characters I've enjoyed. Still, I'd have picked Kenny because arguably, he is my favourite character, is far more interesting and with regards to my Clementine, she had built a stronger relationship with him, so it made more sense, in my playthrough, story wise, for her to have allowed Luke to die.
Though, I would be sad...
Perhaps she would be capable of surviving for a while, but I definitely think that she would need further help, especially with a baby under her care.
But not of baby.
I feel like if it was Luke vs Kenny the choice would be harder. Luke was always a good friend and trying to do what was right.
However, story wise it wouldnt make much sense. I doubt Luke would try to cause drama with Kenny to fight him, and after the camp fire scene it seemed Kenny and Luke were getting along well.
They would not fight. It's not like a Kelly vs Lilly situation where they hate each other. Kenny worries about Luke, they just disagree in how to lead the group, but their goal is the same.
I think it would have been better if Clem, Aj, Kenny and Luke arrived to Wellington, and then Edith says that there is just place for three people, and you should decide between Luke and Kenny. One enters to Wellington and the other one leaves.
